Mao you shinnes! I clicked on this by accident. I kept planning to close the video, but every moment was too stunning. I watched to the end. It was wonderful. I’m moved.
I, too, am not sure how it came across my path (while I was sleeping), so I decided to check it out, see what I’d heard but not seen while sleeping. I liked it so much I subscribed. I’d like to have more of this beautiful music to experience. A new fan!
I watched first 5 seconds and could tell that this was the best variation I have heard. Thank you for making a terrible day a little better, one loop after another.
Your Ravel brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talent with us. I wish you a brilliant career and the most wonderful life.
Absolutely a wonderful performance and a sweet piano music. 🙏❤🎶🎹🎶❤👌😌💘🤗🙆♀️ Maurice Ravel is one of my favorites composers. 🤩💖 Congratulations and thank you so much, Mao Fujita and Deutsche Grammophon. 💕💕🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐😊🌹❤🙋♀️
Beautiful but i don’t understand how he gets the bass notes to be so soft in volume. Is he doing that himself, or is it the piano, or is it the editing/recording, or placement of the microphone?
Hi Mao, when you listen to Ravel, playing this himself, you hear a total other interpretation. Clear, dry, not so emotional, lyric. It is all a bit too much. The music itself is sad, don't play it sad. Good luck.
What has been your favourite 'Musical Moment' so far?

Life is an accident.
Quelle délicatesse … Ce pianiste est habité mais sans exagération… Magnifique !
I watched first 5 seconds and could tell that this was the best variation I have heard.

Our pleasure!
A great interpretation. More pianissimo than other artists. This has a very pleasing sound.
His playing makes me so happy.
Such a Beautiful Rendition! Highly Emotional! 💕Thanks M.Fujita and DG.
Your Ravel brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talent with us. I wish you a brilliant career and the most wonderful life.
I love Maurice Ravel' music, none more than his Pavan.
Thank you.
My goal to one day play this in loving memory of someone special in my heart.
It’s the best non-Portuguese/brazilian song about Saudade. If the concept didnt exist already, Ravel could’ve claimed credit for inventing it here.
The sorrowful melody of this masterpiece he plays is far superior splendor amazing, and full of the admiration and emotions .
ravel captures an emotion here that isolates us in a way that allows the listener to feel profoundly closer to all of humankind and more understood

I never knew you could do vibrato on the piano like that. First time seeing Mao Fujita play.. it's very interesting and extremely expressive!
Well, you can’t. It makes no difference to the sound produced, at most it’s visual performance craft.
You are find unbelievable color for this piece especially M. Ravel
Absolutely wonderfoul sounds 🎹🎶 Bravo
Grande délicatesse de l' interprétation.
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!
merci beaucoup
Remarquable de délicatesse ! Bravo.

Very sweet sounding and emotional, it reminds me of a harp 🤩
Ravel is an Alchemist of emotions , pleasures , lamentations and sorrow
Fujita is an Alchemist of the piano
He seems to look happy. Love it!
Rare gem⚜️⚜️⚜️🌟
gorgeous... thank you!
Beautiful!!!
Beautiful Performance!!
Wonderful performance and a wonderful instrument, it must be amazing to perform on a piano of that quality with such a rich and full tone.
magical
rare beauty
Magnifico
great !!!
Exelente ejecusion .
please come to korea
omg he cried
❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
🎹👋👋👋😍
Piano god
What happened to Mao? I recall him as being calm and without making faces and hunching over.
is that the important thing to focus on?
Beautiful but i don’t understand how he gets the bass notes to be so soft in volume. Is he doing that himself, or is it the piano, or is it the editing/recording, or placement of the microphone?
Well, actually, was going to enjoy something else, but ...
He'd be flattered. I say.
*about Vivaldi
Why such low volume, DG? It doesn't make me want to purchase the album.
Listen to Bertrand Chamayou. You will hear a huge difference: music distorted by self-indulgence VS profoundly expressed by integrity.
wait did he cried?
Well who wouldn’t 😅
a bit asynchronous. it makes it kind of 3d. not sure it is needed. just like he's drunk or something.
Prefer Alice-Sara Ott's interpretation 1million times more..
Wonderful playing. No need to over emote though.
perhaps if he did less, you would complain too?
@@biancacastafiore8760 Awwwwww. 🥺Did my opinion hurt you? So sorry.
@@abbalite don’t worry, I’m not bothered by little people
@@biancacastafiore8760 I'll take that as a yes.
@@abbalite grow up man, just listen, you don’t have to look at them if it bothers you so much
Easy game very opaque 🤔

Playing I liked, his showmanship I did not, can we please unlearn these exaggerated motions and movements, its distracting.
no
Again another artificial performer. You are the shame of humanity
??
Why? (I'm also a pianist by the way)
this made me laugh
Lewin: yours is the dumbest comment ever
@merlindavits Is that what your parents told you?
😑🤮
