I know it’s not what the Twitter fans want, but I still back Bellamy with Mike Jackson as Assistant. Both stepped up in times when the club needed them and made good showings. I think it’d be a good balance of Kompany’s attacking possessive style with Dyche’ pragmatism.
I backed Kompany all the way until he was out the door because of the work he did in 22/23 but the adherence to his “system” simply did not work in the face of premier league clubs who had better players. Two guys who know how the system works but aren’t as dogmatic about it would be perfect for the players we have.
The new first team assistant manager could lead the attack, Jackson the defense, and Bellamy take over as the brains behind it all.
To bring in a new first team assistant coach before a mana...err First team coach is very strange. It looks like it's a coach who has no staff like Bellamy. Then again, if it is Bellamy, why all the interviews for the job? If Bellamy wanted to leave long before we found out about VK, why are we even considering him to be in charge? Think that I would be pissed if he gets the job. I want someone who was and is 100% committed to the role .
I don't believe he wanted to leave but was told to leave, by the old manager.

It’s bizzare but maybe unbeknown to us fans, the club have been shrewd in their appointment. Maybe they have already agreed in principal to appoint a new manager who in turn wants this new lad as his second in command. Can’t imagine another reason tbh.
