I love this as well, CeeCee, and how clever using the ATCs for cards. By the way, if anyone is looking for the ATC frame cards, I found them on Jerry's Artarama. They appear to be low on stock though, so if you want them I think you will have to jump on it quick! Thank you for the fun and relaxing tutorial! I've been trying to sit down and paint for over a week and I can't seem to carve out the time. These small and simple watercolors are perfect! Take care and stay well CeeCee!

I can’t put into words yet what your videos do for me as a beginner artist. They speak to my inner artist and soul in a way that it begins to understand and grow and desire to express my art. I can’t thank you enough for doing these videos. As for the people who give a thumbs down...just why do you need to express negativity. If this isn’t for you just go away. Don’t watch it. Watch something that is for you. Why do you think anyone cares that you didn’t want to watch this?

With a die press tool, a rectangle die of your choice and your preferred paper for card base, you can easily make your own framed cards.

Thank you for making this video I really love The idea of offering trading cards to my following who can’t afford to buy my work. For anyone thinking about doing this, I’m planning on setting it up with a distributor like red bubble so that I don’t have to manage it and aren’t fans can just order as they like I really think this is a great idea because I could imagine having a wall filled with these adorable little cards. This way you can have something special that you love without breaking the budget.

I am new to water-colouring. I’ve been making greeting cards for a few years and recently interested in adding watercolour to my cards. I’ve used Pinterest and RUclips as well as lessons with a local artist to learn about watercolour. Of all the artists I’ve found on Pinterest and RUclips, i connect with you the most. I appreciate your candour especially related to the connection of creativity and our well being. I'm retired & for the past year have been making a monthly batch of 30+ greeting cards, not for special events, but to remind friends/family "highly thought of, you are". Making a larger sheet, using w/c and doodles, then cutting that down into frame-able ATC cards? Fantastic new idea for me! [and "yes" ... gold WILL be used !!] Thanks for sharing so many great & do-able ideas!

This could not have come at a better time for me sweet CC. I have just finished a painting and I really didn’t like it. I liked the colours that I used but not the form. So tomorrow I’m going to chop chop and pop them into framed cards and add some doodles! I’m so happy now because I was feeling a bit flat with my end result before. I collect ATCs and I really REALLY love the 2 you think are 'too busy'! They are perfect!
Since covid, I've been sending out watercolor art that fits into greeting cards to my friends. Your abstract "blobs" with doodles inspired me a long time ago. I just use my favorite colors, or my friends favorite colors and let the pigment flow. I really enjoy how the paint behaves. I have some Kuretake metallic paints that I use on the blobs. It's very satisfying to me and my pals are thrilled to get "art" from me. They are worth it. We all need a pick-me-up.

Maybe it is the planning things out so much that has you a little blocked. These pieces all have a freedom to them, and that may just be your happy place. I could watch you paint and doodle for hours. It inspires me to flex my little bit of artistic talent and try watercolor some more.

I just made an ATC for my Grandson's Birthday card. Once when I was watching them, I taught them what it was and we all made some and exchanged them. A little piece of art, a little piece of my heart. 💖 Thanks for all the inspiration. I have been in a slump myself with all that is going on and not going on. I hope you and yours are well.

Ceecee, I’m with you-da blobs is where it’s at for me lately. Time constraints, distractions and worries, full-time job-not many of us have the bandwidth to do larger art. I had never heard of ATC’s. A fun idea. Reminds me of a movement I heard of where people hide a small art piece in their city and then give clues on Facebook about where to find the artwork. Anyone ever done that?

Since I started watching your videos, I’ve found that watercolor painting CAN be relaxing. It used to be a stress factor as I used to try really hard to control the paints like i would acrylic paint. But, when I go at it with a similar technique to yours (including the gold, which I am now obsessed with), it is like therapy and has brought me through some tough situations. Please keep doing what you do!!

I appreciate you sharing your struggles with art. There is a definite frame of mind you must be in. Art should be a filling of your soul and a feeling of comfort. Thank you for sharing the process you went through to get yourself back on track. I can’t imagine the pressure you and your peers go through to produce art for these amazing videos we all love to connect to. You didn’t mention the colors besides gold, but the blues and pinks look fabulous together. The gold brings it all together!

Framing makes such a difference. I sometimes think oh yuk! When I see a piece I have finished and don’t think is very good. I will put mat framing around it just to see if it improves. It’s not always a winner, but when it is it makes all the difference. I even use black framing stock. Not to frame it but to see a different perspective. I loved the one you thought was too busy the best! I like to work smallish too. Your videos are so nice and your honesty so refreshing. I bet many of us aspiring artist can relate. Thank you.

I learned recently the impressionists started the trend of using a white frame. They were using much more vivid colors that just didn't work as well in the traditional gold frames of the time. Genius

These do really make beautiful greeting cards and I guess if you didn’t want to get the special cards you could glue them on card stock. Fantastic! Thanks for the inspiration.
