Loving the content man - I've been down your channel's rabbit hole for the last week and thoroughly enjoying it! Great tips and incentive to get out there even more and explore our beautiful country and neighbours! Thanks for the effort you all put in!
Absolutely love you're videos and journey's. I am planning mostly your same route thru the Baviaans and Tsitsikamma next month its going to be a wild one in the winter❄️😁
Another great video, love it! The Toyota pickup's inability to drive in full-time 4x4 on sealed surfaces is a huge shortfall, the Mitsubishi range is far better (& safer) in this respect. One of many reasons why I wouldn't buy a Toyota... Cheers
THERE ARE TWO REASONS YOU WILL NOT BUY A TOYOTA 1. YOU NOT EDUCATED ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND TOYOTA TECHNOLOGY 2. YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY A TOYOTA Have a great day .
@@danielprinsloo2917 please educate me on what it is I need to understand with regards to the fact that the Toyota Hilux can not be driven on a sealed surface in 4WD? I struggle to understand how this Technology is better than say a Mitsubishi Triton that can be driven on any surface, in permanent 4WD? Not sure why money is relevant in this regard, but hey ho, you are the educated one after all. Oh & be Lekker today!
Thanks for watching Gary! I am running a 120AH Lithium Battery powered by a Redarc Manager 30 system from 4x4 Megaworld; it's capable of charging at 30amp from the alternator, 220 outlet and solar.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the amount of B roll shots in these videos. They are incredible and telling the story must mean a lot of stop and go. Well done. As always. The highlight of the weekends RUclips content.
Thanks boet! We typically park into the wind, and the wind usually comes off the water, the one day I turned the vehicle around so the awning deployed the right direction, otherwise the wind usually guides us
Andrian you know I'm so jealous right now, you are doing what I love and enjoy so much. And most all impressed with how you guys prepare for this great adventures experience.
I love mine, it takes up a lot of space and is an odd shape for camping; but it makes camp cooking so damn easy, I just cant go without it! And im not sponsored by them and I bought it with my own money :P I love that damn thing... But just wish it was a little bit more compact!
I just bought it off Takealot; but I had to buy the flat plate griddle separately. I’m not sure which country you live in, so difficult to give proper advise, but any of your local Weber dealers should be able to help
All three vehicles look the biz. Tough, rugged and muscular. Loving it. ❤
The beasts! 🤣
Your travel video has been so nice day by day. ✌️
You guys are living my dream ❤✌
A different perspective to the Baviaan's and more. Keep it up !
Thanks guys! Plenty more awesome adventures ahead of us!
Another awesome trip and episode. Thanks for sharing Adrian
Thanks Brucey!

Goodluck! I think it’ll be spectacular though! A tip, use electric blankets and a small inverter; it’s a game changer for winter camping
Another enjoyable episode. Great footage.
Thanks Chris!
Did you stop to check out the Winston Le Roux cable-way in the Baviaans? Fascinating piece of engineering with an interesting history.
What? No! Where is that??
Another great video, love it!

Hahah thanks boet! We definitely worked our asses off a bit on this trip 😂
Where do u get refuling on such long remote track... ?
Love n respect from pakistan
The distances aren’t too much; but all the vehicles are fitted with long range fuel tanks as well for just in case 👌🏻
Why did you not do the Rust-en-Vrede trail to get to Storms?
Didn’t know about it, it was our first time doing it
@@RoamOverlanding Check it out for next time, it starts at Doornkloof and goes due South over the mountains to Kareedouw. Awesome route.
Good one 👍
Thanks again. Question 🙋♂️ why do you not back your vehicles up to the view and create a private off road on view spot?
Thanks boet! We typically park into the wind, and the wind usually comes off the water, the one day I turned the vehicle around so the awning deployed the right direction, otherwise the wind usually guides us
🤙 Wow. I love all your videos BUT this one is SUPER EPIC 🤙

Amazing views the last couple of videos and so glad your uncle finally got his Isuzu back in proper running order.
Glad you’re enjoying John!
@@RoamOverlanding I have enjoyed literally all of your videos since the very first one! Also, you are an excellent narrator.
Thank you for another amazing episode!!!
Plz keep them coming!!

What are the Weber grillers like?
I love mine, it takes up a lot of space and is an odd shape for camping; but it makes camp cooking so damn easy, I just cant go without it! And im not sponsored by them and I bought it with my own money :P I love that damn thing... But just wish it was a little bit more compact!
I see you don't use a big gas bottle for it what connectors are you using to be able to use the small gas canisters?
Tommy, the Q1000 comes with those fittings as standard; you actually need an adapter to go to the big bottles
Oh ok cool so where did you get the weber?
I just bought it off Takealot; but I had to buy the flat plate griddle separately. I’m not sure which country you live in, so difficult to give proper advise, but any of your local Weber dealers should be able to help
Rooihoek is die beste
Awesome channel. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
If I did a shot for everytime you say Baviaanskloof….🥳..keep up the great videos…love SA
Hahah tell me about it! I have to edit these things and watch a video probably over 100 times before it goes live 😂 Atleast we are out of there now!
What a epic journey Baviaanskloof Shaun and Berdien kom kuier mooi loop
