This is, no shit, the best video I've ever seen and probably will see in my whole entire life.

I just finished both the full film and this portion and am here to express my utmost thanks for your film. Back in May of 2024 (perhaps around when you moved to Costa Rica), I traveled to Monteverde. My best friend and I had just graduated early from high school, and he'd spent a semester in Monteverde a year or so prior. We flew down there on our own, just barely 18 years old, and spent two weeks in the forest. We stayed with his old host family and spent hours walking through the trees. We were both rock climbers, and when my friend had lived there some of his local friends had introduced him to some beautiful climbable strangler figs. On a few different days we hiked out to those figs and climbed them. Both had host trees that had long since died, leaving an empty hollow all the way up to the canopy. Like you, we climbed barefoot - but with no gear to speak of! Just straight up the middle of the tree. I remembered when we climbed the bigger one we got all the way up to the canopy just when the sun was setting. It was incredible - the whole forest below and around us, the life growing on the branches, the animals and plants and epiphytes. Just breathtaking! I'd brought a disposable film camera with me and took a few shots, now long lost to time. The sun set, our conversation slowed.... and then we realized we had to climb down! And at night!
Clearly we survived to tell the tale. Your film brought forth the most wonderful memories, and it was so heartening to hear from climbers and scientists that are showing the reverence these trees and our natural world deserve. Your filmmaking is so beautiful, and I'm so impressed by your camera rig - when I watched the film I absolutely thought you were using a drone!
Anyways, this comment is getting quite lengthy, I hope I've adequately expressed the delight, joy, and inspiration your film has inspired. I hope that your future endeavors speak to your soul and bring as wonderful a message as this film has.

Dude you have an unbelievably low amount of views for the level of quality you have in these videos. I love your style and personality and it makes your videos even better. This is my first full video I have seen of yours and I subbed right away. I found you from your shorts and started binging those. Keep up the good work forreal. The time you put into your content is appreciated by those that watch it. Much love my man ❤

I can’t be any more honest when I say that climbing giants is probably my favorite RUclips videos ever. And this came up in my feed and it gave so much more insight on the process. That documentary has literally given me so much climbing, and just general motivation to find what I love again. Because of life doing it’s thing, I lost my hobbies and motivation for everything. So if you ever feel like this project wasn’t successful ever again, please remember that you have changed a 14-year-olds life with it. I really hope this reaps the attention it deserves. Please keep up the great work, we’re all rooting for you

I enjoyed the feature and this behind the scenes look very much! They are both soulful works. I think I like this one even more because it tells a universal story of coming of age and searching for oneself. It balances seriousness with humor, while neither slipping into melodrama or becoming vapid. Really excited to see how your story continues to grow! I plan to follow you as long as you keep posting, and I hope that is a very long time. ✌️💛

Climbing Giants showed up in my recommended, absolutely loved it, then came here and watched this.... Given the quality of your videos, I would have expected you to have millions of views and subs! Kind of exciting that it's all new and fresh. Wondering if you've heard of Benjamin Egelhofer, also on YT, better known as the "German Tree Free Climber?" One of my first thoughts watching Climbing Giants was "I wonder if anyone could free climb these strangler figs... well maybe Benjamin!" Maybe someone to collaborate with in the future, another tree-climbing film? Anyway, thank you for doing this - extremely inspirational, both the tree climbing and your story.

You are exactly doing what I dream of every day, just going into the woods with awesome friends and living life while climbing in such enormous giants. I've watched all your climbing videos. What kind of rope do you use, in order not to get it damaged when it's raining and slipping over gnarly edges? Thank you for all your marvelous content.

In the end the thumbnail for the full film has a couple of festival selection, did you get in any ? The film is really really cool, and it feels like it could be at a few climbing / outdoor festivals. It is a bit niche for big distributors but with some tightening it could even be on some bigger plateforms. Although I didn't mind having access to it for free on here. Anyways, great work dude, looking forward to your next big project. I'm not a fan of shorts - although that's how you came up on my radar - longer form will always have my love when it's to tell stories like this.

This is amazing but please dont make it trend because people will starting to try this and ending up destroying this beautiful tree, not all people can take care nature the way u guys did, even here at my place people already destroying rock, they are rich people who new with this climbing world and they dont have knowledge and skill to climbing rock and they ending up do easy way to climb and doing it the wrong way and bolting rock the wrong way because they have money to buy equipment they need but dont have passion to learn climbing from basic but they need tu fullfil their desire t for social media life.. I just dont want climbing become something that destroying nature, the reason we start climbing because we love nature but nowdays so many people start climbing just because it become more a trend sport..
