It amazes me how as a species we are so brainwashed to believe that we should work ourselves to death that even while playing in a virtual world we are working ourselves to death.
It's how our society is structured, try not working, see how far you make it. Does this mean this is what we were destined to do? Of course not, we were supposed to be small communities of social animals that would learn to hunt and socialize, we would mate and take care of our offspring, we would sit around fires and sing, talk, it was a significantly more relaxing environment. Nowadays we are for the most part alone, not in communities, we work specific hours every single day most likely at a job we aren't happy with, so that we can come home alone, watch TV alone or play games alone, and then repeat again and again. We are animals, we never evolved to do this kind of stuff hence why we have such a massive amount of depression across our developed country. The Amish have it right, we have it wrong. Unfortunately we have to play along unless you can find a way to survive in the middle of the forest and not be seen, because even those forests are owned by government and they will remove you if they find you. Which in itself is ridiculous because we all own the land as a country, it's not the government that owns it specifically. It shouldn't be anyways.
In a world where the only way to survive is to eat each other (or other life like plants), count your "blessings". The Demiurge made reality this way for its own glee.

Lmao, I know right? Can't believe Fooster never heard, let alone tried, pancakes with ice cream?🤣👍Although, he might be thinking of English style pancakes, not the American style.🤔
Fun fact: in America stealing cows, or "cattle rustling" was a HUGE industry in the 1800s, especially in the Old West. "Cowboys" became a slang term for thieves who would gang up and steal 500-1000 cattle at a time and drive them to the black market where a $3 cow in Texas will go for as much as $60 in Chicago. It was a booming industry and a rich part of American culture. Nobody cared because they were getting their beef, except the ranchers losing all their stock. In many municipalities, cattle rustlers who got caught were subject to death by hanging. Hank had every right to be upset.
@thefoosterchannel that sounds about right. My mom loves that show, I've never seen it but been meaning to watch it. It's much more regulated now, but back then nobody cared they just wanted their steak. Gangster outlaws (cowboys) made tons of money stealing cattle, driving em east and selling them for crazy prices in major cities. Edit: taco might know a thing or two about it!
Very different, but still very enjoyable. I can't believe that you've never had pancakes with ice-cream, and maple syrup, diabetes food. If ever there was one. Good post, thank-you 👍
I grew up on a cattle farm with my grandpaw in Kentucky. The comments the dad was making really hit home for me. They ain't met to be insulting, more of a shit talking motivation. To make you reflect on what ya doing and how you can improve. I miss that man greatly

So this reminds me of a film I once saw. Someone will know which one I mean. A group of people holed up in a diner, waiting for an attack - from something terrible. Either a horde of demons or some other unknown horror…
This game was great! A bunch of different people with different backgrounds and personalities all stuck in one place. Actually running a diner while learning about everyone. Love games that lean toward more realistic events. Fooster got good at running that diner as well.
Dunno guys but I loved every bit of this one. The story, the atmosphere, the visuals - absolutely spot on, sucked me in. Fooster - thanks again mate. Also, would love to see you doing some restaurant simulators 😅😅
Theres a Diner down by me, my Partner and I are regulars and now when we walk in we get waves from the staff and don't even have to order we just sit and it all arrives. Such a good vibe

Thanks for showing us all the games I'll never have time to play, so i can at least play vicariously through you! Come a long way since the King of the Hill and The Isle. I'm all in. Still holding out hope we get another Prop and Seek sometime!
story is everything!!! this was so good, and i feel like the end of the world part pertained to each indivual story more like the end of each personal world
Around the 20 minute mark of this game was mad and straight with violence already, she didn't have to do that and still, you play different type of time periods at a time and no wonder it's a strange world ending game 🤣
Thanks for another awesome vid! I really enjoy your approach and experience while playing unmarked territory. Greetings from Germany and take care mate! :)
This was a odd and good one F. Had me hooked even though I had to come back to it to finish it. The diner is definitely purgatory for Cliff. (In my opinion) hence why Nora at the end said "you always keep me waiting"
I was so invested the whole time xD sometimes enjoyment isn't about the best graphics and frame rate while nice in its own way, but personally for me good story will always make an excellent game.
As a bartender and server for a few years, if someone is acting like that while drinking, its usually a sign that you should stop serving them alcohol as their judgement is impaired maybe due to emotional volatility, drug consumption, or prior alcohol consumption. If someone gets angry in the US at a bar, you're supposed to stop serving them and even get a manager to potentially have them removed from the premises!

I think I saw something like that happen in the Yellowstone show 🤔
@thefoosterchannel that sounds about right.
Fun fact: water is wet
@@andrewcas8153 fun fact: the sky is blue
I love this game and your playthru. @26 minutes?! Ugh! I've never done that, but I've wanted to.
19:41 okay hold up I did not expect this.😯
Very different, but still very enjoyable.
Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Same here buddy. Cape Town, South Africa
After seeing Fooster beat that car down it make you want to ask, ‘Damn Fooster, who hurt you?’😂😂😂
I need to point out that Foosta literally drooled over every bit of food until the fresh milk was in the pail at his feet... lol
What you do fooster is find a multi player food game and play it with fisk haha but I'd watch you play games like that your vidyas are always awesome 🤘
Omg! I’ve never seen another comment pronouncing vidjyas like I do. I feel at home now. Do you always say “terlet” when talking about the bathroom? 😂
I always enjoy seeing Fooster game plays.
My first time watching was once I watched Fooster & Frisk playing horror-game man I never jumped so much when you guys screamed. 🤣
Pancakes with ice cream yum! Its how we have always done it in my fam. Try it Fooster! 😁
Fooster... if you haven't tried pancakes with icecream yet, then you've been missing out.. BIG TIME!!!
So this reminds me of a film I once saw. Someone will know which one I mean. A group of people holed up in a diner, waiting for an attack - from something terrible. Either a horde of demons or some other unknown horror…
The amount of films with settings like that, it's gonna be hard to name just one. 😅
Legion with Paul Bettany
@@cinnewyn that’s probably the one - thanks!
@@cinnewynWas going to say that myself. Good movie, underrated.
Yeah definitely legion, has the old lady that orders steak raw right?
Thank you, Fooster :)
Yes! Love the new vid man!
Got this notification as I'm watching you play "Lazaret". It's good to know what I'll be watching next. ☺
This game was great! A bunch of different people with different backgrounds and personalities all stuck in one place. Actually running a diner while learning about everyone. Love games that lean toward more realistic events. Fooster got good at running that diner as well.
Fooster that was so cool.
Really enjoyed that.
Thank you.
Nora was such a sweetheart
Her fate was sad
what happened to Nora
@@zacharykelley7856She got killed by that drunk fella
Dunno guys but I loved every bit of this one. The story, the atmosphere, the visuals - absolutely spot on, sucked me in.
Fooster - thanks again mate. Also, would love to see you doing some restaurant simulators 😅😅
11:20 Fooster just leaving the burger there and just watching the conversation make me scream...
Theres a Diner down by me, my Partner and I are regulars and now when we walk in we get waves from the staff and don't even have to order we just sit and it all arrives. Such a good vibe
You never tried pancakes with icecream?!? Boy, are you in for a revelation. And what is all this about dipping fries in egg???
I’m still in the first half hour or so but wow, they sure gave Mandy some cake 👀
Just finished this video. Really really enjoy the story driven games. Open ended is a blast, but these long-form story-driven single player videos are my favorite. Thanks for showing us all the games I'll never have time to play, so i can at least play vicariously through you! Come a long way since the King of the Hill and The Isle. I'm all in. Still holding out hope we get another Prop and Seek sometime!
Fooster painting, "guess we have to be a little careful around these bits" , immediately sprays the door with the largest setting LOL😂
if you haven't already, you should play happy's humble burger farm
Enjoyed the video Fooster 😊
53:01 was so funny when fooster said "this isnt gonna end well" And right after Hank says No Sh*t 😂
These games normally are not really style but I am enjoying the heck out of this!
story is everything!!! this was so good, and i feel like the end of the world part pertained to each indivual story more like the end of each personal world
Around the 20 minute mark of this game was mad and straight with violence already, she didn't have to do that and still, you play different type of time periods at a time and no wonder it's a strange world ending game 🤣
33:26 First time I drink coffee ,it was hell😫 I think it's going to be my last time.
Thanks for another awesome vid! I really enjoy your approach and experience while playing unmarked territory.
Greetings from Germany and take care mate! :)
Thank you for watching 😊
I played this game, was pretty interesting and have different endings :)
Can't wait to see yours, and have a great weekend!
This was a odd and good one F. Had me hooked even though I had to come back to it to finish it. The diner is definitely purgatory for Cliff. (In my opinion) hence why Nora at the end said "you always keep me waiting"
Not knocking fooster but it’s funny listening to a streamer act like a regular job is so satisfying. 😂
lets gooo! a 2 hour gameplay! thanks fooster. love from malaysia 🫶🏼
21:21 I think it's obvious the drunk is the killer, and it seems like he may have killed Nora.
43:52 at this point id be asking for my own aluminum hat😂
I was so invested the whole time xD sometimes enjoyment isn't about the best graphics and frame rate while nice in its own way, but personally for me good story will always make an excellent game.
As a bartender and server for a few years, if someone is acting like that while drinking, its usually a sign that you should stop serving them alcohol as their judgement is impaired maybe due to emotional volatility, drug consumption, or prior alcohol consumption. If someone gets angry in the US at a bar, you're supposed to stop serving them and even get a manager to potentially have them removed from the premises!
[1:17:22] LMAO. It felt like you enabled something nasty within Eddie didn't you? Haha. I haven't finished the video yet but I had to get this comment in now xD
I can't explain why, but in light of the graphics looking like you are playing this on a PS1, the story has intrigued me... Cheers!
Olaf just sitting in the booth there demanding whisky.
This is a very nice game, it's different and you could feel the effort put in the story and bringing the connect with the characters.
My grandparents own a farm in Maine and let me tell ya I've been helping them out since I was 12 work days are 6am-sundown you eat a quick lunch then back to work if your lucky and get done early there is a trout stream on my grandparents property I fish I moved to Georgia a few years ago but I still make Time to go on a plane and help them out when I can their in their 80's now and still run it I'm the only grandchild that still visits unfortunately:(

@sproductionsinc Carmel,maine
Hey fooster! I found you about 2 or 3 months ago and fell in LOVE with your channel. RUclips just did their first time ever gaming recap and I came in as one of the top 0.3 percent of all your watchers!! I enjoy your videos so much and I live for the screams at fisk “BODY BLOCKING” I hope you’re doing well, please don’t die🖤😂
