This poem was given to me by Lahiri Mahasaya when I was having a spiritual crisis- the poem is about Christ. It was channeled through my wife: The Word And the word was one with his thoughts where he sat with lips parched from speaking. He wandered the land and began his journey to impart the practice of his heavenly art, painting love and kindness across the face of the world, drawing the lonely, anguished and bereft to him, healing the spirit by the flesh, conquering the beast that titillates the people to pain and misery. Speak the truth of humanity and the need of man, to trust until beyond the end in the one who created them. Today is tomorrow is yesterday, and all join together to exalt his presence among the people, where the most exalted is today where you are living. Do not blush with shame when he calls your name, but know that he will welcome you to enter his arms. He calls your name even when you do not hear him. He has searched for you among the ruins of your empty faith, and your earthly actions that have blanched your soul until it is a shadow of the death that you would feel without his presence in your life- with your sins unforgiven. He has gathered to you all the tools that you require, but even as he gave them, you began to divest yourself of meaning. Upon the birth of existence he was, and is, your only salvation. There is only one possession that will open your heart to his word and that is love, that only he has given you so you may be arisen. The gift surrounds you in essence and in action, but has been forsaken when you have denied it to yourself and your kin. Open your eye to the power of the word and his love that pours into your vessel. To deny the good works of others is to deny Him. His gifts are not to be denied or tarnished by denial or repentance. Hold dear the power of love given freely and steadfastly at your feet. It is the word. Love your brother as yourself. It is the word. Remain steadfast to those who hold to you and do not waver. The reed will remain strong in the storm if he is imbued with love. All is love. All is God. My wife doesn't know Lahiri Mahasaya or has even read the book Autobiograhy of a Yogi. When she told me about it afterwards, she pronounced his name exactly the way it should. I was honored that he came to help me. And now we know he is more than a gifted writer.
It was a great experience listening this treasure. But one very very humble request, please check only one thing, “it’s the beginning of Dwapara”. I’m really overwhelmed with this 21 minutes of treasure.
Hi Ramanujan, Swami Sri Yukteswar (Yogananda's guru) explained in his book "The Holy Science" that we are actually now already in the beginning of Dwapara Yuga - the age of energy. Or Bhavishya Puran or Kalki Puran or Bhavishya Malika by one of the greatest Viashnav devotee of Lord Jagannath (by Swami Achyutananda Das) are all wrong in their informations. Could you please explain ? That would be really great.

Jay Gurudev Jay Yogiraj!. Don't understand how in this western lineage of of Kriya Yogis initiated by much respected Yoganandji, started placing Jesus Christ in the lineage of Kriya Masters. Actually, there is absolutely no reference of Jesus in the great narrative of the Kriya Yogis here in India. This is sheer ignorance of the westerners to compare Jesus Christ with our great master Shri Lahiri Mahasayaji's, the great Yoga Avatar. The most silent Yoga guru who even didn't allowed to take his photo image. Peace!.
