I tried this recipe with my 1/4cup measuring cup.. So the recipe says 4.5 cups flour so i put 4.5 cups of 1/4 cup, that makes slightly more than normal 1 cup, use same cup for other ingredients as well. Also i used tea spoon for baking powder and baking soda, that is 1 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp baking soda, cos tablespoon is really big as given in the recipe and could have the bad taste of both... the cake came out to be good.. Hope this helps
