    You forgot a a few things my friend when comparing the 2 oils. 1. digestion is much better with refined c-oil. 2. they are about the same when it comes to nutritional value, especially if the refined is steamed refined 3. if you don't like the coconut scent/taste when cooking, use the refined oil hope this helps

    Is there a difference between expeller-pressed, cold-pressed? And I've also heard RAW and Virgin and Extra-Virgin are actually three terms for the same product? Wholefoods sells a cheaper Organic Unrefined expeller pressed...and I was standing in the aisle for a good 15 minutes trying to discern between two organic products :Raw Extra Virgin Cold pressed vs. Virgin Unrefined expeller pressed?

    • @PlanetSoane2

      I highly recommend this brand from Amazon. It has a 90% 5* rate out of 1,900 customers. As a West Indian, I used to make coconut cold pressed oil everyday by grating fresh coconut, adding water and squeezing out the milk. Trinidadians must add coconut oil to beans and meat. This is the closet to the taste and smell so far that I have used. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EZ0JE0I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

      PS2 being * in hair, was hoping you could leave it in, because of the effect it has on natural hair ('stretches' it out and softens it supremely!).

    • @PlanetSoane2
      @PlanetSoane2  6 лет назад

      +Skylightatdusk No, refined organic coconut oil is not fractionated. If it were, it would be liquid at room temperature. Here's a good article about that and good luck with your hardening soap www.annmariegianni.com/whats-the-difference-extra-virgin-and-fractionated-coconut-oil/

    • @Skylightatdusk
      @Skylightatdusk 6 лет назад

      Thanks. BTW, what is 'room temperature' precisely? It's just that that term varies according to variables like climate and season.
      I put some soy oil into the refrigerator to see whether it will harden as did the coconut oil brand I have did during the cold night (Crisco refined). By this afternoon, the day's heat liquefied the coconut oil again. Why won't Crisco just give me information when I called? That would make things so much easier and more transparent! They promised to call 'if' their 'team' responds ... and has not called back.
      Thanks!

    • @PlanetSoane2
      @PlanetSoane2  6 лет назад

      Your welcome and great question. To me room temperature is in between 65 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Right now it's 71 degrees and it feels nice and comfortable. So I'll go with a comfortable temperature where your not sweating or shivering. Temperature does change during the seasons and if you don't have an AC or heater, then room temperature will definitely be different. Coconut oil melts around 76 degrees and that's pretty close to room temperature. Grocery stores keep a balanced temperature and most of the time coconut oil is solid there. The reason they probably aren't responding is because they know there isn't one correct answer haha. Your best bet is to experiment and come up with a room temperature that works for you. Goodluck

    • @PlanetSoane2
      @PlanetSoane2  7 лет назад

      Hey there Stan, from what I found Coconut Grade 76 falls in the refined category. It seems like its used a lot in cosmetics (hair, skin) massaging and soup making vs. eating. Its definitely not the lowest grade of coconut oil being: refined, cold pressed, organic.. but a lot of the bottles say "Pure"....... As "Virgin" or "Extra Virgin" are the best.

    What about using it on skin and hair, is there a difference?

    • @PlanetSoane2
      @PlanetSoane2  8 лет назад

      +MalikVisual I experimented with the Refined Organic Coconut oil on my skin then stopped. I prefer real coconut oil with its scent.

      PS2 Try Dr.Bronners organic, virgin cold pressed, nuttier brand. I love it. I eat it, use it for hair, skin, teeth & in my coffee face mask.

      If you live near Trader Joe's, you can get a bottle of Organic Virgin Coconut Oil for $4.99 and use it for your hair, skin or oral.

    Hiiiiiiiii Thank you for Replying so Fast...I know the States is so Big so I was expecting an answer after a few days or weeks...I just opened it and smelled it...it hardly has any scent to tell you the Truth...Can you recommend anything else for me instead of oil pulling?...That will be equally good?...Thank you for such a Fast response Thank you.

      Yep, no problem. Sometimes the comments come directly to my phone if I'm logged. I oil pulled with the coconut oil brand in the video which doesn't have any scent or flavor. Something felt off about it so I stopped. And Something else besides oil pulling to heal teeth?

    So the coconut oil you showed in the video is a good quality because it's Virgin oil right?

    • @PlanetSoane2

      +Brazilah-is-blazen :):):) The coconut oil in the video isn't virgin, it is organic refined which has no flavor
