- Hey guys, in today's video, I'm going to be showing you how to change the player's FOV on a slider. This will zoom the player's view in and out, and save the value for the next time they open the options menu. (In the same playthrough).

Thank you! Now I want to learn about Depth of field.
Very nice tutorial Matt.
There are so many games out there that really need this option. This could cure some of the motion sickness for people, and helps if you have a Ultra Wide monitor.
Some Bigger creators could use this tutorial... Glad to know how to do this, thanks. Just keep doing what you're doing, you're awesome.
Thank you, best description of exactly what I needed. You get ta like my friend
just so you know, i appreciate your effort and time
keep it up bro
Very nice Matt 👍
Thanks bro im really dont understand how slider works but after this im learning :D thanks bro again ^^
Thanks Matt! 🙂👍👍
I like this video because it looks good for a game, I'm working on. I took too long to making a demo of the game I made, and I missed out on submitting to the game jam.
thanx for the tutorial. I made the same menu but when set game on pause, and the FOV doesn't change until you unpause it so there is no visual changes when you move slider. Is there a way to make camera change angle when on pause?
THANK YOU
Nice!
great tutorial! Also could you make a 3D menu tutorial because 3D widgets don't seem to work on me and I don't know why?
It would be amazing if you could show how to save and add text to a master volume slider. I am having trouble following this video to do it with the volume. I love your videos by that way. I do everything in C++ and watching your videos makes it a lot easier for me to convert everything into C++
Pls make a tutorial on inserting a audio tape into a audio player to play the audio
It would really help (I am able to make it by setting a boolean to true after I pickup the tape and checking if the boolean is true when using the audio player to play the audio but it's causing some errors and is broken)
I'm currently making a controller sensitivity slider but running into a problem. I want the bar to be between 1 - 10 and show those numbers like you have for the FOV in this video but instead of showing 1 - 10, its shows me the actual value of how fast/slow my sensitivity is valued at. how do i fix this so that setting 1 will = value of 5 and 10 = value of 200, with all the other increments in between without having the value showing? Also my bar will travel with the value as well. 2 = value of 20 (which is higher than my max value of 10) so the bar goes all the way to the right and shows i'm at a total value of 20. I want the calculations to work in the back ground but have the bar and the 1 - 10 levels to stay on screen.

Love your videoes!!!
Can u make video how to save fov changes or mouse sensitivity?
I tried to change FOV in MediaPlyer component assigned to plane as a texture, but nothing happens. Do you have an idea how to change FOV in MediaPlayer?
Hi Matt, would be nice if you could make some paid course for UE5 game development from scratch, vice verca. Nice videos btw!
What if a game paused? I can not see it in realtime
I'm going to use that field of view, to zoom in close onto that Subscribe button and reach over and press the like button at it.
Multi player cutscenes systems
You could use his video to show a widget on all player screens
