  • The story of three children who have fallen through the cracks of our globalized world - excluded from public education in one of China's richest cities while their parents work to build its skyscrapers and exports to the West.
    In their last year in an unofficial school and still only thirteen - with all the dreams, hopes, fears and struggles of childhood - they must make a life-changing choice: to return to school in the countryside, or enter the underground child workforce.
