Just a little tip for you to help you remember your cross stitch fabrics…just attach a small cardstock tag to your floss ring that includes the information so that it is always close at hand when you need it. 😉
That’s why I never get a manicure. My nails look like that 5 minutes after I leave the salon. So I just get pedicures, which I love! We love you no matter how your nails look!

I love your chit chat! I was in Dallas this past weekend for a bead retreat. It rained everyday causing a rain stop at the airport. I luckily left Monday morning and missed the afternoon rain. Your dress looks adorable. I bought several PDF sewing patterns. I need to check out that no tape printing service. I wore jumpsuits in the 70’s. My advice is don’t do it! When you need to use the bathroom you need to get out of the jumpsuit. Just a warning! lol!

Anyone going be sure to have coffee and a pastry at the cutest little local bakery 5 minutes away called the Bluebird Bakery and up the same block is the Cock and Bull English Pub for dinner and drinks. I just love those two places!!! They are both 5 minutes from the hotel in the little village of Glendale. So wish I was coming this year, but I'm saving for the PNWSS in the fall. Hugs from NE Ohio.

I just started using Markup too and love it for a pdf chart. I also wanted to load some of my paper charts to help me stay on track across page breaks but found ‘fixing’ the scanned pages pretty awkward. There are numerous tutorials on their RUclips channel and they are very responsive to queries on their Facebook page. I wish you success! And, maybe a quick tutorial if you are so inspired😉. I’m bringing Skipjack with me as a new start for Stitch-Con! Yours is gorgeous. I love that you left the little test swatches for the color change in the corner. My m.o. is to stitch half a piece and then pick out the stitches if I run into trouble. I don’t know why I didn’t think of swatching!
Yay! I'll bring mine too! Yeah i was having a lot of trouble finding the right color for my letters so tested a bunch out in the corner! Thats my favorite thing when I'm having trouble picking a color!

Super curious about how you cut out your dress/jumper pattern. I've always used pins (you used weights?). I've never used a rotary cutter. Please share clothes pattern cutting/sewing with us in the future!
yeah! A few years ago I switched over to weights and a rotary cutter and find it so much easier to cut clothes out more accurately and easily! My weights are actually just washers (that I use for cross stitch finishing) and then a 22mm rotary cutter (the smaller cutter is better for curves!)

Hi really nice catch up video. I scan everything with my notes app on my iPhone. That makes automatically into a (multipage) pdf that you can import into the app
You are a hoot! I love your rambling. If you've never been to Cincinnati, you need to try Skiline Chili. It's completely different from Texas chili. It's spaghetti noodles topped with a very flavorful beef and you can choose your other toppings. They have cheese, onions and kidney beans. I make a copycat version all the time. If you have an iPad you can scan it in Picture mode and save to PDF , I just did that with 90 patterns to put them in Mark R-XP. Works really easy.
