😭 I thought i found a good deal lol. I have only seen this video so far but as far as Cancun, beloved playa mujeres was a great couples resort. I am looking for a budget friendly family resort now and I loved this family suite with the divider. Seems hard to find around there. My kids will freak with the crocodile sign! I can't do that. Thanks for the review!
Oh no, but I can see how the crocodile sign could scare or worry anyone. I was a little scared myself, especially since one of the guests I spoke to said she actually saw one. 🐊 How old are the kids? Have you considered the Nickelodeon Resort in Cancun (or Punta Cana)?

I came across your video and I am so glad I did. My trip is next month at the Royalton Riviera Cancun and this place doesn't look well kept. I might be canceling my reservation and finding another resort. Thank you
If I were you, and you decided to still go, I would consider the Hideaway section, which is adult-only and possibly more upgraded. Let me know what you decide, and how your stay is, wherever you go.
@edenchasers I'm just turned off by the look of the room and how run down the cabanas look. I don't want to be upset on my birthday weekend. I'm looking now for another resort
@@lamark1634 There is a Night Club there called XS and a Swim Up Bar on the kids side called Encore. Plenty of things to do during the day and night. Dance parties. Movies. Live music. DJ. Vendors.
We visited there 4 weeks ago for a wedding, never again would we visit Royalton. I can't begin to tell u how many problems we encounter in our 7 days... we couldn't wait to come home....such a shame! because all Royalton I thought is a good resort...
@sharonpollard9954 I'm sorry to hear that but I'm not surprised. I world say, consider giving Royalton as a brand, another chance. I started at Royalton Bavaro twice and NEVER had any issues. It may just be this location. Regardless, it's unacceptable.
@juliemaycumber-judd2173 I just went end of June/early June. The food was actually pretty decent. They have a lot of food options there. Come back on the 30th. I'll be posting a video about the food options.
I want to say it was about $200, but I know the price can vary based on the length of your stay and where your room is located (i.e. Hideaway vs Non-Hideaway)
