Yes, sorry for the shocker :) Colorado has their fair share of rattlers here. I have seen a few over the years, but never a serious run in. They are everywhere from when you're out hiking or mountain biking to your neighborhood. I'm guessing you have a few poisonous snakes where you are?? How do you keep them at bay?
