Mussolini used that salute before Hitler
And is called the Roman salute because the salute is somewhat similar how the Romans greeted each other
Doubt however much you like, I'm a Spaniard and my grandparents -all of whom lived during the war- have all told me that they did.
What an exaggeration, the spanish movie industry does it again
It literally happen like that
No it didnt, he was blackmailed by the republic to make those speeches in real life and the crowd wasnt just made of fascists
Of course it, all movies are, they are dramatization.
That's a beautiful scene, well written, well directed and well dramatized.
Spanish movie industry is having a golden age right now, with good actors, directors, staff and scriptors.
Enjoy it while it last.
Arriba España!!!
When you have to make up history to make the other guy look bad lmao.
why you say that care to explain
Que dices de inventar historia paguela, yo soy de derechas y graduado en historia y la película es fiel a los hechos.
1. The history wasn't made up.
2. If you watched the movie, you'd see that Miguel de Unamuno was opposed to both sides. His speech was about condemning the war, not a certain camp in particular.
@@TheAnikeenko Tranquilo amigo, Diego es transhistorico y no se identifica con los hechos. No entiendo como gente como usted puede ser tan intolerante en este 2021
Millán-Astray was evil to his core though. Unamuno knew about his participation in the massacre of civilians during the Philippine Revolution. He deserves all that hate upon him.
Sin verguenzas!
Unamuno seems like a pretty arrogant guy
An intellectual.
@@mrsupremegascon anyone who describes themselves as an intellectual is always a sanctified douche
Unamuno was absolutely right
YES
Read his history, he was anything but that, he was actually a evout Catholic who despised both Bolshevism and Fascism
For such an acclaimed intellectual he is nothing but a foolish old man. Human beings will always choose hate over reason. To attempt to convince them will only stoke that hate ever higher.
