I'm right there with you, I stopped buying comics in the 80s when they jumped to $1 an issue ( Marvel). I came back in 2008. Daredevil Shadowland has ol' Horn Head turning evil 😬 The bottom corner boxes indicate if it was sold on the newsstand ( upc) or in comic shops ( like the one you pointed out). Later on, the corner box will say Direct Edition - like Namor #59 in this video. Another great one 🫡

A lot of those box sales have a lot of 90's drek, but every once in a while they'll load a box with a run of 80's comics for runs I'm trying to fill out and I'll jump on those.

I noiced that with my first box I ever purchased it was mostly 90s Image. This round was alot of DC and Batman which is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for watching! Have a great weekend!

The reading order on that era of justice league can be a little confusing because there were two different runs of Justice League International. It starts with Justice League (1987) 1-6. The name changes to Justice League International (1987-1989) 7-25, then to Justice League America (1989-1996) 26-113. At the same time it changed to Justice League America, they started Justice League Europe (1989-1993) 1-50 which then became the 2nd Justice League International title (1993-1994) 51-68. Not sure if that helps or just makes it more confusing. LOL.

It most definitely does help. I wasn't sure which series to read first so thank you for the information! There was also JL Taskmaster? Not sure if that is part of the main series or unrelated to the continuity? Thanks again. Good info.

@@razorcomics Justice League Task Force ran 1993-1996 but I haven't read any of it. I think I stopped reading the Justice League titles by then. Later in the series the tone changed and it wasn't as much fun. I think task force was mostly a stand alone series.
