You should get the "Fading Wounds Fix" by Zippy it would make showing the blood decals with your flashlight not faded and more realistic

I like how it implies that this takes place after the combine were kicked out of earth because of lines like:i don't miss dr brean but i do miss his show and i miss the combine being lines of some of the citizens
The Sad thing is, even if the combine “aren’t there anymore” their overworld and control over multiple solar systems still exists, they can most likely go back to earth and reestablish their control.
i'm guessing 5 to 10 years after ep2's events

I love how this implies that people in the world of Half Life aren't all nice. Reminds me a lot of Cormack McCarthy's The Road. Just becaue there are aliens invading, doesn't mean humanity can't be just as cruel as the combine when all the laws we once knew are now gone.

I have come to really enjoy these. These are so high quality even at the beginning. These have been always high quality. Keep it up, man you are doing good work.
this is really good, one criticism i have is that npc,s rarely are threat because they react extremely slowly or lack any weapons i highly recommend looking for a better npc mod to make combat a little more intense.
yeah, since most of these are npcs are scripted to pose they can't do much other than loop their animations. it might depend on the map too
I like to think of realism like this as like mission from the gmod realism "game" like from thw teasers he made

MAN! the setups for these are so fantastic! HAHA, i'll also never get sick of hearin the HL2 citizen dialog / pain sounds, i always found them so funny, especially the "aEGHHHH!!" death sound when you shoot them lmaoo, KEEP it up mang! you should do more of these! :D

I really love the different perspectives that you've been doing more and more. The cuts-between really does help with giving the fighting a 'spatial' element which is easy to understand. This one was the best one you've made in a while, imo.

this is a really great gmod realism video don't get why rebels are attacking rebels.
Think about it in a world like half life i dont think it would just be rebels and combine there woukd be different sides in the middle whether is be terroist, rogue combine, gangs, and militia, and all different kinds of people that arent friendly towards the rebels
I just think this would be the world after the fall of the combine occupation, a world where they try to bring back society but there's people who see it differently when there's no laws anymore and people try to stop them.

Curious cause I want to make my own realism videos. How did you go about making a cinematic intro like this for example? Or some of the other mechanics like having npcs already in cover and having conversations is that like some kind of NPC scene mod or something?
Would love to see a tutorial how you go about making your realism videos even just a short demonstration of how you setup the scenes etc like behind the scenes footage.
Far cry healing is a great little mod that goes very well with TFA IFAK (A weapon that is a tactical medkit healing 40 health while I have Far Cry healing system set to be useable at 30% health left while it heals 30 for me. All customizable there with that one though I heard flashlight issues occur after using it in the session so I am gonna have to test that).
Like others mentioned fading wounds fix is legit. I have found other realism mods that may interest you too! I love combining HD Half Life 1 impact blood and bullet particles with enhanced splatter system, makes for some quite interactive violence in the game.
Instead of Fedhoria for the ragdoll physics try Reagdoll it's being dubbed as superior and more updated to Fedhoria and does not need to be combined with realism ragdoll but i might try that too anyway just to see if their is any difference. But Reagdoll is a pretty cool updated alternative to Fedhoria.
Any recommendations for inventory management? I love the default valve HEV inventory but I am sure theirs better solutions out there. I thought about using the Resident Evil inventory and then just using quick swap in the GMOD options menu to manage my weapons maybe. I use Escape from Tarkov hud right now which is very dope may I add since it even shows your stances and is compatible with prone mod.

So good bro but you need to note 1 thing. You need download the mod named "No blood on playermodels" or something like that because when npc's shoot to you, your blood split on every surface and this isn't look realistic at all. That's all 👍

the citizen talking is edited in the video and the pills is a far cry healing animation

Mind providing us with the story of this one? I'm confused if whether they are in the half life universe or not.
Its not half life, its Gmod. My own little headcanon for this is just survivors who took over a house and left everyone for dead. But they forgot to double check the protagonist.
If you really want to think of it as half life. I suppose the far outlands are a pretty lawless place to be.
I like to think that this is in the far future where humanity managed to get the combine off earth as one of the npcs say "This is gonna sound crazy, but I kinda miss the combine." (2:13)

To be honest, I like the weapon addons you've been using in your recent videos. Not the MW weapons because they just seem overkill to me. I like the new realistic weapons.

Not sure what the aim here is. To have a fun gameplay or record a somewhat realistic experience. If the latter, gotta look into rushing into bullets cuz in the last few scenes you soaked them like a sponge. Other than that, looks cool

This map is scripted and playable. But i took all the events out and staged everything myself for this video.
