So much wisdom from Ali. He’s spot on with leaving in your depth vs. editing it out Liz. Show us all of the layers of who you are. Keeping it real as you are here is so attractive! You’re gorgeous, brilliant, emotionally tuned in and so darn likable!! I can see why Ali is frustrated and a bit intimidated. He SEES your full depth and potential. He knows you’ll surpass him and legitimately feels it but you don’t seem to believe him. He respects and admires you but also sees that you’re censoring out some of the best aspects of who you are. To the toxic productivity - I think this stems from the fact that some viewers think a channel’s content is representative of a creator’s life. The analogy here for me would be to talk about ‘toxic weathermanship’ because the weather people only talk about weather on screen. The productivity RUclipsr is not more obsessed with productivity than the cooking RUclipsr is obsessed with food or the fitness RUclipsr with fitness. It’s the focus of a job, which ofc hopefully people are passionate about, but it tells us nothing about what else they are passionate aside from that one thing we see.
The way Ali answers is like Elizabeth is his ex girlfriend, like you know so secretive, and uncomfortable almost as if it’s painful to remember the memories

I used to watch Ali's videos and that's how I ended up at your channel, honestly going through multiple videos I feel that you seem more real and genuine than Ali, Though Ali's amazing but seem a little made up than natural plus, I also feel that maybe that's why people like his content because he's speedy, quick, and 'acts' more clear, even at instance it seemed that while ali was listening to your responses he seemed that his mind was planning on what next step he should take or what will be the best suitable response to attract more watchers or will the watchers will stay if I respond in that manner. I also did felt he seemed to compose his laugh and reactions over and over again, and seemed to give some shallow and responses that might seem quick and interesting but are just something that won't be relevant to what you just said. However, when ever he responded you seem so submersed in listening to him which felt that you cared more of the person than having your brain auto programmed with invisible watchers.. Ali is definitely unsure about the relationship between him and Liz I feel so I guess it's best if they talk off camera and in private about it if they haven't done it already. This kind of thing really does take a toll on someone's mental state and it's pretty clear that Ali wants to do the right thing, but he just doesn't know what the right thing is. I also feel like the criticisms Liz gave to Ali gets taken much more seriously than she realises and the reason why Ali plays driver's license on repeat just shows the emotional state he is currently facing. There's a lot of subtleties that many people overlook but often it's those subtleties that really tell us how a person feels inside. Another sidenote, I feel like Ali started the wife inbox thing as a semi-joke semi-serious thing but now, the reason seems very clear why he doesn't pay that much attention to it...

It's only human to cry, I like the part Ali was totally Frank and cool about it, Elizabeth was very accepting about it too. In most cultures, crying is still seen as a sign of weakness and the whole 'boys don't cry' machoistic philosophy is forced upon us. I feel men are often shunned by society for expressing themselves.

Just bc in the other video (on Ali's channel), Liz said "I can't be quite honest because it may damage your brand", this led Ali to give cop-out answers in this video and said "This is what you wanna hear" & made Elizabeth annoyed at some bits. I feel like a psychoanalyst while watching these 2 videos and... I must say I felt something, umm like a different kinda vibe and a deep chemistry within Ali and Liz. Like they are "mystical friends" of each other if that makes sense. I hope I explained it well and also am I the only one who thinks this way? 😅

I totally get the resting *ahem* face! I’ve literally developed lines on my face because as a teen I trained myself to lift my eyebrows just a bit and always have a low-grade smile so that I didn’t look so “upset”. The nice face goes out the window if I’m really concentrating on something-at least that’s what my family tells me, LOL!
