- Hey hi howdy! This video is a bit of a mish mash of various different things I wanted to talk about and showcase so it all got put into this video. Like a smorgasbord, or a charcuterie tray. It's a little bit of this, a little bit of that!
For your convenience here are some timestamps/chapters:
1:09 - 4:11 BENU chat and pen assembly
5:11 - 26:00 'Rude comments' discussion and Currently Inked
26:14 - 45:45 Ink Swatch Project discussion
46:50 - End - Pen chat and collection thoughts
Thanks for hanging out with me!
oh i love this discussion! i notice it all the time across the internet.. it feels like people need to be reminded of the concept we teach children: some thoughts are out loud thoughts, and some thoughts are inside thoughts...
i loved seeing all those swatches, its so satisfying seeing them arranged in colour groups! and ahh that line up of pretty coloured pens at the end is so lovely ^^ i'm so sorry for that pens nib and feed not touching, that sounds so frustrating :/
I like the swatch book! I just swatched all my inks yesterday, and for me personally, I really like having the writing sample too because it's kind of wild to me how different ink swatches vs. writing looks and I want to see that, BUT I can respect you don't. it would take forever with so many inks! I'm a newb with only 15 inks and even that was a lot! lol
I purchased the Pen Boutique exclusive BENU Talisman Firefly Stone and I've really been enjoying it. This Spring there have been so many new pens that appeal to me. I've had to be careful not to get carried away! 💸
Yes! I totally agree, wow there have been so many stunners. I'm so happy that you were able to get the pen boutique BENU and that you're loving it! 🥰
Such a wonderful video! Your currently inked is fantastic, and I love that Wearingeul swatch book. Thanks for walking us through it! 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋
That first pen with yellow/pink/purple swirls is beautiful! Love your ink colours too, so summery. Makes me crave for a popsicle! Lol!
thank you! I feel like the resin artist and the pen maker did such a great job, that pen turned out so fun and beautiful!
Also, love all the colourful pens you have!
i love all your pens too! you definitely have some gorgeous awesome ones in your collection!
So good to see a video from you!
Loved the chatty video and all of your sparkly pens. Too bad about the FC nib.☹
i know! wah. it worked just fine in a different pen, so i think it might just be that it doesn't want to align right in this asvine pen. I kind of... friction fit them into the collar. they seem to do fine when they stay in the collar they're meant to be in. 🤪
LMAO at the intro
My Rose Tea shows up tomorrow (allegedly, according to tracking), so I’ll get a picture as soon as I can open it!
Nice video! Curious, what is that name of the pen and pen resin blank used for the Robert Oster Free Spirit ink?
Thank you!
That pen is from Hogtown Pens, the model is the Swansea, and the resin blank is I believe Unicorn 2.0 from Jonathon Brooks!
@@DaisyDoodles thank you so much! I have the Visconti Unicorn Galaxy Kaleido, and it looked so similar to yours. I figured it was the same blank. Soooooo pretty. It’s hard to picture well!
@@charis_explores That pen is absolutely stunning!! The material is so dreamy, it's just beautiful!
Can you bend the Franklin Christoph nib to curve around the nib?
i might try this, but i'm a little intimidated to mess with it too much for now!
When content creators bring up/focus intently on negative comments, it never ends well. It only rewards those who actually did mean to upset them, since they now know their barb hit its mark. It drives away viewers who are turned off by the awkwardness and negativity of this off-subject matter. And it reduces channel engagement, as who wants their well-meant comment to possibly be highlighted as a rude "hater" comment in the future by a sensitive content creator? If commenting is chilled by this, there will be no discussion to speak of.
Fortunately, the creator can block and mute as needed behind the scenes without this kind of drama and no doubt vent to their personal friends and family about problematic commenters without these issues. Turning off comments entirely, while drastic, is also an option some do go for.
Content creators are human and I am not gonna police how they individually choose to do with rude comments.
