Such a great video! I bought this same kit a few weeks ago. Once I get a spray booth I will attempt to build it. While my build won't look nearly as good as yours this video has given me a few ideas and tricks on how to get a much better result than what I currently get.
Uh oh takumi will not like this because that's the Mercedes Guy 😏🤣🤣 awesome build wish Tamiya makes easy to build kits of our buses in the philippines 🌟🌟
Really satisfying seeing on-off airbrush stroke like with the primer and clear coat. Not sure if it’s “right” but that’s how I was taught to spray everything, regardless of scale or medium.
In fact, there is no single truth. so if the result is good, it doesn't really matter how you airbrush. Of course that's my opinion. The reason I use on-off is to stay fixed in one spot and prevent the paint from flowing.
Nicely done! I like your choice to highlight the black parts with red, it really catches the eye! I would suggest you use flow improver with some of your paints because it looks like some of your paints aren't behaving themselves when you use your airbrush to spray them. That would drive me nuts, I saw a number of parts you were spraying with your airbrush that the paint was simply spattering onto, that must have been driving you nuts! I know it would with me. It depends on what type of paint you were using but most of the model paint makers also sell flow improver for their paints because many paints don't behave well in an airbrush. Flow improver can greatly decrease the size of the paint droplets that come out of the airbrush, making your paintjobs much smoother. If you already use flow improver than perhaps you simply need to add more, but the big issue with flow improver is that the paint takes longer to dry when you use it. Otherwise I think your build of this model is fantastic, well done!
yes sometimes the paint can splatter and it drives me crazy. I actually use it flow improver as you said. but while shooting the video, some things are not complete enough and you have taken the video. When I edit the video later, I say the same things to myself just like you. Like "why haven't I been more careful about it". :)
Here’s the problem. If the tip is blue then the whole pipe would be blue since that color is typical the hottest color indicator (except red which would mean your pipe is about to melt). Hahaha A good way to make sure your car or motorcycle is running a good temp with just a look should be blue-ish by the cylinder turning into a nice gold-ish color down the pipe. The only way I see reversed colors is different metal thickness or a different kind of metal that can withstand the heat. Then you have the “burnt tip” thing. Which to this day still confuses me why you would put on brand new pipes with the tip burned in but hey to each their own. So anyway love the content, love the build but he’s right the colors are reversed or that car got “burnt tips”. ;)
I explained every detail in part 1 and 2 videos. this was a somewhat straight video to full build. so you are right :) I use auto paint for the body of all models 😁
I wish you uploaded these without music.
Amazing job on the model!
Do yourself (and your channel) a favour and switch to 4K.
Great stuff!
I've admired several nice out-of-the-box builds of this vehicle but your venture into a street-type treatment is extraordinary.👍
thank you so much! :)

Nice! I gotta do one now. Something different than Gundams. I love this car too.

Awesome. I Like It
Very nice finish. You've shown that these kits can look just as impressive out of box without having to spend a fortune on detail up sets or parts.
Amazing

Of course. You can also check out my other videos about what you're talking about :)

Fantastic Job!!!
thnk u!
Magnificent piece of work. Congratulations!
Thank u !
Ellerine sağlık çok güzel olmuş kardeşim
In general, the manifold, elbow, and exhaust tip turn blue due to temperature.
Here’s the problem. If the tip is blue then the whole pipe would be blue since that color is typical the hottest color indicator (except red which would mean your pipe is about to melt).
oh thank u! it was a nice comment
Looks great done as a street version,
Wonderfull job, i'd like to know what's the polish bottles you used to gloss the paint job, and a link to it please, thank you very much =)
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What kinda spray stand is that? Never seen it before? Awesome job though mate, nailed the white which is damn near impossible
oh Thank u! 3D Printed stand bro. Custom made
when you paint do you use the acrylic straight out the container or do you thin it out with anything?
It sure would be nice to know what the paints and clear coats that you used. Exceptional build.
I explained every detail in part 1 and 2 videos. this was a somewhat straight video to full build. so you are right :)
I use auto paint for the body of all models 😁
Hi, nice build and vid. Is this grey sticky paste you use for gluing the clear parts to the hood an homebrew from Tamiya cement and leftover sprues ?
The gray glue is epoxy glue. Since it dries quickly, it is necessary to mix the white and black tubes together and use immediately.
@@EowarithModels ok, I see. Thank you very much 👍🏻
@@EowarithModels awesome build. Question... why use the epoxy for the wind shield as opposed to clear glue/cement? 🤔
@@Vahryk because it dries much faster. I don't have to wait. this takes about 30 seconds :)
@@EowarithModels cheers. Thanks for that 👍😊
It's so satisfying to watch this building video! Could you make the sounds louder next time though? It'd be amazing!! Thank you so much!
Oh thank you ! About the building sound or something?
@@EowarithModels Yes, I want to hear the building sound just a little bit louder😁but it's a very nice video already!
What is the sparkly clear coat at 8:00?
Akzonobel Pearl Red
Araba modelini nerden satin aldiniz
Hobimodels sitesinden alabilirsin
Great detail, you missed the part if you just added fur or something to make the carpet. That’ll be more hot
What is your paint stand and are they available
3d printing product. One of my followers sent it to me as a gift
Awesome Job! What kind of glue are you using with the toothpick?
love to know too
Question.
What would it take to 3D print all this stuff yourself and build one from scratch?
Great vids. Btw.
It is a nice sla 3d printer and it is necessary to model all these in 3d on the pc :)
@@EowarithModels yup. That's what I was thinking.
