To quote Adam Savage, pulling the masking tape off of something freshly painted, is one of the best things in the world. Also, in this light, your Giallo Modena looks more like Giallo Triplo Strato, the special triple layer paint from Ferrari.
Beautiful car. Just one question…what’s holding this thing together?? Anyone?? I’ve seen paint on paint everywhere, but not a sign of cement or glue anywhere.
I had no idea what Glasurit was until I looked it up. It turns out that it's remarkably expensive for the varnish and hardener. So much so that I am astonished that you use it on a model. I won't deny that the end result is outstanding (plus yellow is my favourite colour) yet over £150 to varnish a model....ouch! I hope that you get a lot of models done with it 😊😊😊
First of all, I would like to thank you for visiting my video, For Grasurit clearcoat, I actually share it with my friend who owns a real car paint repair shop. So I don't have to buy the whole set which is expensive as you said. 😉
@OMG Scaleworks Thanks for your response. It's appreciated. It also makes more financial sense knowing that you share the cost. I assume that standard modelling acrylic varnish can't give your models the same depth of shine? Is there anything a lot cheaper that is suitable and gives a similar shine? I'm just getting back into modelling after nearly 35 years and so much has changed. Any advice would be welcomed.
U use DISPAE scribing tool? I love their products but it's expensive af. I know it's quality but.... Alfa models make awesome kit and you bring them life! Awesome work and quality!! Just great!
@@OMGscaleworks and where are you from? If it's not secret? In Czech republic we have only resellers and they're added their price so basic scribing tool it's about 35-40€
I have this kit (and several other AlphaModel kits). You made it look spectacular! Could you explain, or make a video, about how you made the windshield contour so well? That part makes me nervous with their kits as I’ve never done that type of windshield.
Hi...wow!!! What glue do you use for acetate glasses? And why do you weigh 2K paint to thin it out? To be more precise? But 82 grams of clear coat and thinner? (not seen in the video). Thank you.
I have to mixed 2K clear with its hardener in 2:1 so I have to weight them but in video is 8 gram not 80 ha ha. About the glue for fixing the windshild I used CA Glue for that but in a little amount. Thanks for your following.
I notised most model car builders videos don't show applying a clear coat to small parts of the cars. Do they, and, if not how do they avoid getting fingerprints and paint smudging on small parts when assembling>>??????
Work of art! Masterpiece!!!
Thank you so much!
성질 급한놈은 하지도 못하겠네요.. 퀄리티가 최곱니다..👍👍👍
Thank you so much!
Alot of think red is the best color for a Ferrari but Enzo wanted yellow to be the best one and I agree yellow is the best.🎉👍👍👍💎
On dirait une vraie. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Merci!
What an artist
Thanks again buddy!

This is impressive, first time I've seen someone use Glasurit on a model car!
Thanks a lot mate! I try Glasurit from thinking about if it can protect my real car paint for longer than 10 years why not use it on my model cars.
Fantastic work👌
Thanks a lot sir!
wow its nice details for each part of this model.
Thank you very much!
Fantastic work like always. Everything is so clean and well mastered. Love the colours you chose for this F8, both interior and exterior. Well done

Did you know that Enzo Ferrari is somewhat responsible for Lamborghini coming to be?
Yes and Lamborghini is responsible for Pagani coming to be

Cool model! How you done glass masking on that one?
Thanks, glass masking from factory don’t have to do anything.
Beautiful car. Just one question…what’s holding this thing together?? Anyone?? I’ve seen paint on paint everywhere, but not a sign of cement or glue anywhere.
Actually I did not apply any glue in camera to prevent some mistake and I did it afterward behind the camera. Thanks for your visiting!
Exactly what I’m always thinking when I watch these
Blew it out of the park like I knew you would. Absolutely beautiful build and work. Got those tiny little JBL decals on point 👌🏼
Glad you like it! Thank you so much.
Amazing as always!!

Nice. Wish the kit had engine, drivetrain and suspension details.
Yeah That would be cool!
Beautiful👌🏻
Thank you ^^

What glue you using when dap a little dot off glue on the model.
It’s low fogging CA glue.
Fantastic work !!! May I ask if the yellow is Tamiya LP-8 or LP-69?
Thanks for visiting! Actualy this yellow I mixed it myself. base from LP-8. You can not use LP-69 cause it's clear paint.
May I ask, what did use on the tip to hold the parts at 28:06, thx in adv
It's just thin double sides adhesive tape on tooth pick tip. 😉

I’m in BKK., Thailand. I guess it’s cheaper because of different tax rate.
How long do u soak the water decals before taking them out of the water?
Around 20-30 sec.
@@OMGscaleworks ohh okay. Thank you!
Amazing! Btw, why it took you way further of the built to remove the runner under the windshield (that’s like a B pillar)?
Thanks a lot. To prevent broken A pillar by accident, I keep them until when I have to paint black on the edge.
@@OMGscaleworks very clever! It is because the A pilar is so fragile at that state (before the windshield is installed)?
Don't let Whistlin Diesel anywhere near this thing!
Absolutely! ha ha
another clear paint for 1 layer will make it perfect.
I'll try in my next project. Thanks for your suggestion! 😉
Looks amazing, what paint did you use to mix the color?
Thanks, I used Tamiya Laquer Paint (LP) for this mixed.

Hi, what do you mean by custom mixed for Giallo Modena?
Thank you.
Because it's not a real Giallo Modena color from Ferrari, I mixed it myself using color matching from references on the internet.
@@OMGscaleworks Ah ok, but what type and brand of paints?
👍👍👍👍
Just found you. Subd Beautiful builds!

When I try to remove excess panel line the thinner mars the paint???? What am I doing wrong?
Don’t use thinner you have to use Tamiya X-20.

How long does it take you to
Do you mean “How long of this project build?” It’s about 2 weeks.
I notised most model car builders videos don't show applying a clear coat to small parts of the cars. Do they, and, if not how do they avoid getting fingerprints and paint smudging on small parts when assembling>>??????
For me, to use clear coating on any part It doesn't depend on the size of the piece. But it depends on the accuracy of the actual car.
I have been seen this many times. why Grey primer and a white primer
Grey for imperfection checking and white for brighten yellow base coat paint above.
How about you get another one and make it pink
If I do that I might get sued. Or get blacklisted from Ferrari haha
Yellow flash
Nice.. But a lot of tape
Yeah I have to buy them a whole box! 😂
