    What is the main difference with the seatouch 3?

    Great video! I’m looking to get this exact same housing for my iPhone.
    That being said, do you think it’s worth getting the red filter kit for it? Does it make a big difference in video quality? I only dive in blue waters, if that matters. Thanks in advance.

    Great video and I’m glad to hear you’ve worked out the issues you first had with the housing.
    Do you know if Divevolk do replacement touch screen membranes should it get damaged?

    • @watertrek360
      @watertrek360  Год назад

      They replaced mine that had the major bubble issue for free. That was very nice of them. As for the membrane I don’t believe so, it requires a new housing. To my knowledge membranes are not repairable. But damage can be by many things. Always be careful of the membrane on deck and when transporting and if wreck diving.

    Very informative video. What is the reason for using the GoPro with the Divevolk Sea Touch 4 on the same rig/tray?

    • @watertrek360
      @watertrek360  11 месяцев назад +2

      It gives balance and comparison. I can set go pro to wide angle normally and then have the ability with iPhone to switch to a variety of lens and still have a backup of entire scenario in case. I am actually trying to build a rig that can handle a 3rd Camera. A 360 camera as well.

      I use on my right hand a golf glove if its colder. Really thick gloves for cold water diving, are still a challenge and you have to be patient. It will respond, but it may take you several tries.

    Trying to decide between the Divevolk with my iPhone 14 pro max or a go pro 11. What do you think?

    • @watertrek360
      @watertrek360  Год назад

      Either one. Go pro 11 is smaller less if a foot print. If you lose it sucks. But you’ll live. If you lose your iPhone 14 you are SOL unless you have 2 phones. That said if you haven’t bought the GoPro 11. Think of that cost. Plus an underwater housing stick or tray. Since you have the 14Pro already minimally all you need is the DiveVolk housing and a lanyard. Video quality is great on either. I think the 14Pro is slightly better in clear water under 60. feet. It’s up to you. Risk vs reward. The diveVolk let’s you change whatever you want when you want. Check out my video comparing iPhone to GoPro.

    Hi! Every time we dive, we have to remove the screen protector, isn’t it? Remove and stick and remove for every dive… a bit annoyed

    • @watertrek360
      @watertrek360  11 месяцев назад

      I have found that I do not have to do that. I took a new screen protector, cut it in half so that it doesn't cover the opening for the camera, and stuck it inside sleeve for the phone. I raises the phone enough for more contact. So I've left it on. Now it is a little less sensitive, but it works, just be firm with finger. Make sure phone has assistive touch on.

      @@huiyongchia I have the WA lens. That has the same problem. You can't unless you take it off. Meaning the red filter goes on first, If you want to remove Red filter, Macro or WA lens have to remove, then RED filter, and then put lens back on. @@watertrek360 finally I buy my Seatouch 4 max, attached to preowned Sealife dual tray. At the beginning I was afraid as the Seatouch housing is not fitting between the 2 arm of the tray, it is about 2 centimetres wider than available space. I abandoned the idea to modify either the tray or the housing and go mounting the housing a bit tilted on the tray to test it. Surprise, having the housing tilted it is by far better than installing it aligned to the tray, as I can reach the shutter button easier and the tilting itself it is not affecting pointing the target.
