When you mentioned you were thinking of ideas for a sword core, I recommend heading to Home Depot to pick up a inexpensive fiberglass driveway marker rod and use it as a core for your sword. I do this technique to make my props. Let me know what you think of my idea! :)

Dude your works are amazing, i wanna see you make more Demon Slayer Swords and the black swords that Zoro uses in the Live Action that broke when he fought Dracule.
And a suggestion for the clip 7:10 you can use thinner strips of popsicle sticks, stack them together (but use the router or the tool you used to make a hold inside the sword for the sticks to go into)

Oh Bro, One More Again, Can you or no you make too with Yoru S-Hawk (Seraphim) But the only difference being the blade is not black.
Some conventions don't allow metal. Use glass fiber instead.
Is fiberglass bendable for a curved object like a katana?

@@LockProps just Google cosplay fiberglass stick. They come in different thickness as well and are both resistent and light.

If you still don't understand what I mean, then try watching One Piece episode 1087 or Episode 1101 in the Egghead Arc, then you will know for yourself the shape of S-Hawk's Yoru sword, the blade of which is not black.
I’m about 40 episodes away from 1087, I planned on making that sword, but there are a few other projects that are in the pipeline first before I can get to it
