Great couple of Joe B. reactions! If you want to see him do something a bit different, check out his acoustic performance of "Woke Up Dreaming" with cellist Tina Guo, live at Carnegie Hall. Not sure what genre of music it would be, but an amazing performance by both artists.

More Joe Bonamassa or Beth Hart and please try Black Country Communion ,I love Song Of Yesterday Live but the whole Live Over Europe is a vibe from my past The way I remember concerts in the late 70s and early early 80s all in balls out rock and roll

Had to laugh! Never heard anyone listen to JB and say "The one thing that song needed, was more guitar solo!😅
However, as someone indicated below, it sounds like you should listen to his performance of Just Got Paid at the Royal Albert Hall. It's a tribute to ZZ Top, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
If you need more solo after that (and aren't very impressed)...you should seek professional help!😅

Great! Now you need to check out one of Joe's idols, the Irish guitar great Rory Gallagher. For an intro into Rory's music, try "Moonchild" at Loreley 1982 or for something slightly different, check out "Philby" at Montreux 1985 with Rory playing an electric sitar. "Do You Read Me?" from 1979 Rock Goes to College gives you an idea of the energy of his performances. Or check his acoustic chops on pretty much any rendition of "Pistol Slapper Blues". Rory was courted by the Rolling Stones, was Melody Maker's 1972 Guitarist of the Year (over Clapton, Page & Beck). He was a phenomenal talent that let us much too early in 1995 at the age of 47. Please take a listen-you won't be sorry!

Yeah I really took it all in, and getting to watch the whole band like I want to is a plus for me .. videos don't focus on the band much but I like the whole experience .. Cains Ballroom has a wooden floor, and I could feel the energy from the floor vibrating and through the air, vibrating my bones .. No chairs so standing the whole time .. That's an experience you don't get just from videos .. the headphones help alot though

    It’s an all acoustic concert
My favorite song of his woke up dreaming is an acoustic song though there are other versions with special guests
My personal favorite is a man and his guitar.
The whole concept in Vienna was exceptional. Next level.

I consider Joe the greatest living guitar player and have seen him 4 times. If your looking for an incredible solo may I suggest a song however by Gary Moore IMHO the greatest guitar player who ever lived and his live rendition of the Messiah will come again No lyrics just a long incredible solo leaving you believing the Messiah has come again and he is playing the guitar

the show was a tribute to the three Kings, and it was cool to see Joe switch to the same kinds of guitars the legends played when he did their songs. In fact the Flying V he used on Angel of Mercy was actually Albert King's famous "Lucy" that was loaned to him just for this show.
