I really enjoyed this one but for the more faster Arcady gameplay I love 13, 18 and 21 for more sim. I hear a lot of people say 17 but it didn’t click for me like the others. The mid air collision ragdolls were amazing though
@@PlayGames_PG yeah that’s fair, if you liked 16 it’s too slow, if you liked 18 it’s too fast lol also I would be perfectly fine if Fulham adopted the West London Whites logo as a secondary. It’s beautiful
Bro i 100 percent agree with you I remember the first time playing this game and the gameplay was so realistic this is my most played game of all time i have never seen such brilliant shooting and heading in any football game heading was so real it's a joy to play with specially Ronaldo because he was the player in game from which you can use every gameplay mechanics with him his shooting was so op. After this pes i directly played pes 2021 and pes 2021 feels so unresponsive and the passing was bad and players felt so laggy and didn't like it a bit PES 16 is the GOAT of football games for me and i also played fifa but it's gameplay feel so repetitive and boring
I hadn't played this one in years, forgot how much I loved the flow of the games. I think there was another one I loved, maybe 2012, was really fast, I'll have to dust off the old games and review those too! Cheers
Yep PES 21 is soo cumbersome, the players feel like they are running in treacle and everything feels on rails. As you say it's so boring, so many games have hardly any shots or real action. PES 16 is the GOAT for the PS4 generation and it reminds me a lot of PES 6. That perfect balance between arcade and sim.
PES6 was my favourite, haven't played it since as '07/'08 were shite. Off the back of you mentioning 6 in this vid, I'm gonna give 2016 a shot. Thanks man ✌
Yeh it's awesome, I still play it now. The only thing that makes me give it 9 is that the GK are really bad and let in easy shots in. But that's it for cons. It's also the first pes you can use option files on the PS4 so you can add get all the teams fully licensed and get classic teams and players added.

I actually like PES 2017 a lot, it was probably the one I played the most as it was when I was involved in the mod community. What I was trying to say was that PES 2016 perfected the gameplay in terms of action arcade style blended with a sense of realism. In 2017 they altered this system and I don't really know why, but that isn't to say that 2017 was bad, far from it. Cheers
Only if you have it on disc or can find a disc copy, digital versions are not for sale anymore unless you can find a PC (Steam) code online which is unlikely.
PES 2017 is the last truly great pro evo game on the ps4 era. It was excellent and in my opinion one of, if not the best pes of all time. It is on par with the 2013 and 5/6 versions. The problem is that, after the disasterous 2014 version and the mediocre 2015 version, many people switched to fifa and never came back. 2016 ironically was a good game and better than the previous ones but 2017 was peak gaming, way better than 2016, the must fun and most balanced pes, hands down. 2018 made me feel weird when paying it. It was something that i just didnt like about that game. The graphics, the AI behavior, the grass which looked like a big green plastic hall, i dont know. The one that i bought (again) recently is 2019, because i think that after the datapacks and updates it became a VERY good pes indeed. It just had a rough start on the season. Efootball 2020/21 were the reason i stopped playing pes games and this says alot.
I do think the last few weren't as bad as I thought at the time, but I agree the 15-17 era was golden. I think if Konami weren't run by complete idiots they would scrap eFootball and bring back PES, as the fanbase would really welcome it. Sadly I think that will never happen now.

haha, nice! I only end up doing about 10 years in master league as all the old players coming back as youth makes it feel weird after a while. I wish they had done a new player creator or a draft class type thing that NBA games let you create, could have made it last even longer.

17 was good but a bit too slow and they nerfed the shooting from 16 to 17.

100% agree . It is my fav football game i played it since it came out to this day probably over 10k hours now, too bad I can‘t see it.

True, I think goalkeepers are hard to balance in these games but aside from that I agree top drawer stuff.
