Yay! We are booked at Oasis RV Amarillo early August, a stop on our westbound Rte 66 adventure. Campground looked well kept, but the area a bit "barren/bleakish" This video very entertaining, lots of laughs! 🤣 That wind!. I'm a little nervous about storm shelters and crazy wind 🌩🌪🌪storms out there to be honest. Was there much road noise? Look like not far from I40. Oh another question ladies, have you on been I40 for the majority of the time or are there RV drivable sections of Rt 66 where you can wander off the interstate to see sights and then jump back on? We are hoping travel at least some of the route, off the interstate in some states so it's not all highway. Look forward to your next stops assuming they will be OK/MO/IL. Thank you for sharing this fabulous MHB adventure!
Thanks for watching! You’ll should have less weather drama in August, but I wouldn’t assume anything. We didn’t find the road noise to be a problem. Honestly it was so windy…the wind noise drowned out any other nearby noise. I think so, depends on where you are. We just rode along Route 66 here in MO this past Sunday. The road itself is not very wide. Driving along in our truck to tour and see the sights has worked well for us. Our approach is to get from point A to B, detach and then drive around to explore. And again depending, we will go out for a day of exploring via the Interstate and come back on Route 66. Have fun and safe travels!
Great job, ladies! Love the review! As a fellow full timer, I would always love to know how good the local grocery store is and if the area is LGBT friendly. Keep it up!
Thank you for watching and sharing a comment! We generally use Instant Cart, so I don't always go in the stores. From a LGBTQIA perspective, we don't have anything to note. (Because we would if there was) All was well, no issues for us.
👎 Thumbs Down for the WIND!!!!!!!!!!!! My goodness!!! So glad this is a Big Rig Friendly Site, but Man Mother Nature needs to "Relax Herself"!!!!!! Take good care on the road!!! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Brakes! ::: 🚌🚌🚌
Yes, if you’re not ready for winds like that - it can be jarring for sure. We ran into another couple that was totally not ready for them and they had booked a 1 month stay. They were totally ready to get out of there after the 1st couple of weeks!
& yes got me me a mug (#merch)
Yay! Thank you for supporting our channel!
I really appreciate your channel. We have a 40ft DRV 5th wheel and love the fact you have a channel dedicated to big rigs. You guys do a great job.
Thank you for watching and stopping by to share a comment! We sure appreciate you and maybe we'll see ya on the road!

@@MileHighBeachit's scary when it becomes a safety issue. This has been an interesting journey!
