Thank you for this content. We battle Japanese beetles. We removed all of our Lilies. The roses flush new growth and blooms. The beetles shred them. We’ve lost so many roses, but strive to grow them for their matchless beauty. We’ve not had success with lavender until we planted Phenomenal. We loose some, but many persist and look well. We fight enormous deer pressure. We want simpler maintenance. So we are slowly converting to flowering shrubs.
The best product for Japanese beetles is milky spore. I had a problem for a long time until I use this natural product. I have not had any beetles for years. Highly recommend this environmentally friendly product that definitely works and it is also easy to use.
Just recently found your channel. I love your nuts and bolts style of garden care advice ! I’m in US. Arizona zone 8 b and still find your style and advice spot on for my garden!
Hi Marta! In one of your recent videos you mentioned June is a great time to start foxgloves for next year. I bought the potting soil, seed starting soil and foxglove seeds, but I'm just not sure how to start them - should I start them in individual seed trays? Bigger pots with lots of seeds? I would love to see a step by step guide on how you do it, or even a clip of what your little seedlings look like and how you care for them, when you plant them out, etc. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I look forward to your videos each week.
If I could advice something, sawn seeds directly to soil in garden, from hand and replant them in October, when will be enouh big on the place, where You want to grow and blume next year. It's standard way 🙂
Thank you sooooo much for all your valuable instructions, suggestions and examples. My gardens here in Minnesota are very similar to your's as far as plantings. With your guidance I have become more successful (and extra rain this year from Mother Nature). I always look forward to your next video.
Your garden is so lovely! Thank you for this valuable information regarding pruning. Can you do a garden tour to describe the various flowers you have planted with them all in bloom? I'd like to copy you!
Thank you, this was a fantastic video. I will be hard pruning my spent geraniums tomorrow after watching this. Your garden is absolutely beautiful! How should I prune my climbing roses?
I am going to try that with some of my salvias! I am currently battling earwigs and rose weevils but fortunately live in an arid region so no black spot. Am currently under planting my roses with succulents ❤
Except for the annuals I planted, none of my garden is booming yet. Last night it was 10c so everything is behind with the cool and rainy weather. I hate cutting grass lol.

Hi Marta, may I ask if you would severe prune Veronicas in the same way as the Salvias please? Thank you
Yes!
@@GardenwithMarta Thank you x
You had quite a bit of color on some of your salvia. Could you have waited longer before cutting back this salvia to enjoy the color a bit longer?
