I owned 8 top brand strollers before trying Bugaboo and I never went back. I had the Buffalo (reaplaced by the Fox) followed by a Donkey and would never get anything else ever again. I never had anything break or squeak or deteriorate. Sturdy, maneuverable, high quality design and engineering and totally worth the money.
I have to baby zen yoyo and I loved it! I used it as my primary stroller from newborn stage “don’t really recommend the newborn attachment” they will outgrow that pretty fast. But the 6 month + highly recommend!! My family travels quite frequently having this was amazing and so convenient. Doesn’t do great on rough terrain true but went through plenty of cobblestone roads in London and it held up fine, my daughter is quite tall and used it on a recent trip she is three years old but probably is the last time she is definitely outgrowing it! Let’s just say I’ve put the stroller through over 30+ airports and many many miles and it is still in great shape I am surprised too!
I have a Graco click and connect, and yes, the large wheels make a huge huge difference. I used to think that wheel size doesn’t make much difference, but I now hate trying to maneuver strollers that have small wheels. Go for the bigger ones!
From the video it feels like you really prefer the bigger, more robust (bigger wheels etc.) I had two and had to sell them....the thing is as most moms I know, I have to do everything alone with a baby in my arm, lift the buggy into the car, carry it up the stairs atc. Pushing a 12+ kg stroller makes my arms hurt, there’s no time to take off and on wheels for us. Maybe they look or feel better but they are just not worth the daily hustle for most moms out there. Also a big thing I want to point out is the reversible seat, It’s simply hard and emotional to not see your baby, when we changed our stroller at 7 months at a forward facing one it was difficult for mom and dad too. I talked to other moms on a daily who decide not to do it even though moving the stroller around would be easier because of that one factor. Just a few things to consider, after all moms use strollers the most so thus that they should be made for us users
he is speaking from a pov of someone living in Norway. We have cracked pavements and lots of snow, ice and slush. We need something sturdy, thats just the facts. A lot cant afford a car here either, its too expensive. Or they use it rarely to save some cash. Then folding doesnt really matter. Those who do have a car often have a big daily use stroller and a small one for use with the car
One needs to understand it's needs. I find camaleón huge and he classified it as Medium (lol). I live in Barcelona: no snow, small apartments and small cars or need to fold it often. So also no fan of assembling wheels etc
Same, I live in a beach town in Mexico, so I can’t imagine having to put my baby in a car that has been sitting in the scorching sun while I struggle to fold and take the wheels off of a stroller. I also find the reversible seat important to me because older people here like to pinch small kid’s cheeks and play with them (it’s cultural, I understand, but I’ve never been a fan even when I grew up here).
This is such a silly thing. Hard and emotional? Then just wear the baby. Much much easier. And have you ever considered that your baby would want to look at the world and not just you ?😅
Not every mom has the same situation tho , I am a mom of 7 and live in a walking neighborhood very rare to be in car and no stairs . A stroller that isn't wobbly ,is dependable , smooth and strong makes my day and life much much easier
Thanks a lot for this video! Factual and logical, gives you all the information you need to make the right choice for your lifestyle. Definately rewatching before we go buy one!
Fist of all, I wanted to say I just recently discovered your channel and I love your reviews. They are the most informative, logical and gives out lots of facts. I'm curious if you have tested out the Nuna Tavo ( think it is mid-weight), and also the very popular budget stroller Zoe. Thanks
Super high end running strollers. I grabbed the Bob Ironman for my first and never looked back, I can't imagine those expensive runners having much to gain relative to the price.
Hi!!! Thanks a lot for your videos! ❤️ I appreciate it. English is not my first language and I couldn’t fully understand which ones you are recommending for the Cadillacs. I’d like to take a deeper look into all of them you mentioned. 🥰 Thanks a lot
Hi! Thank you for this amazing video and the work you do! We had Emmaljunga Super Viking with our first child and I really loved it, the downside was that it's very clumsy and heaving for getting it in and out of the car, we have a Skoda superb so we had no problems getting the stroller in size wise, it was just very heavy, so we changed it to Britax Go Big2, which is a great stroller as well, but I do really miss the air wheels, they do a lot. So now for the second child that we're expecting we we're thinking of getting Babyjogger GT2 Double to have as an extra stroller when we're out and about with both children and then a somewhat smaller stroller to have when I'm alone with one child, and we've been looking into Emmaljunga NXT60F with air wheels. Because we live in a "small" city in Sweden and have a small elevator we need a more of a city stroller but that could also handle the Swedish winters (when we do have them) and the country side roads. But I'm not sure if this is the best solution, I know about Donkey2/3 but I'm not completly sold on it and we cannot fit a big stroller in our elevator, even though it ticks a lot of the practical boxes. I'm wondering though if you have any experience with NXT60F and what your views are on it? Or do you have any other example of strollers that has air wheels, fully inclined seat unit, can handle the Swedish winters and countryside but also works well in a city and for cars? Kind regards, Donna
Hi, Glad you like our videos :) All of the NXT models are quite good, and the 60 is probably the best ballance between size and performance (though I like the 90 best, myself). As far as a double stroller goes, if you're willing to pay the high price for the Donkey, then it is the best option for all the things you're talking about (and we're based in Oslo, so same terrain and same winters). The Donkey was designed alongside the Bugaboo Buffalo, which is one of my favorite strollers for our conditions, and offers great drivability while still being light-weight and capable of collapsing down to the size of a single stroller. It's main negative is that it's many hinged and collapsing points means it has a tendency to get loose after a few years, which can affect resale, 4-5 years on, when you're done using it. The GT2 Double is nice as well, but I find that the loss of 12 inch wheels is not always worth it, especially in the winter, so if you're looking for something more in this style, I would go with a TFK model even though they're a bit heavy.
thank you this helped me so much I'm considering buying a stroller used off of Facebook marketplace for my reborn doll and I'm deciding which one to get thank you very much this helped a lot 😊
I love your reviews and this channel! I stumbled across this in my search for a stroller that I can face baby. I am a little stuck with information overload though. We're looking at strollers that can handle our local sidewalks. There are many steps and I feel like our baby is one jostle away from popping out of our Chicco bravo stroller every time we go up or down a crosswalk. The other conflicting criteria we have though is we are looking for a light weight/compact stroller with an easy fold for two reasons: we still rely on our car for daily use, and visiting grandparents need to be able to handle steps + stroller that isn't too complicated to fold. We've tried out the Donkey mono - and found it to be too wide, and the Fox is great but seems so expensive for something that will likely break in a few years based on your reviews. It also takes up all of our trunk. Any other strollers we should look at or consider? What are your thoughts on the Bumbleride Era?
Is there any flexibility for you regarding the reverse-facing? Because given the rest of what you say, the Babyjogger City Elite (or even the City GT Mini) would be a pretty perfect fit. Otherwise, the mix of terrain-capability on one hand and small / not too expensive on the other is hard with the current market :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Unfortunately the reverse-facing feature is the reason why we were looking at other strollers in the first place. If we take price out of the equation what options does that give us? p.s. this is now the wife speaking :)
Given the current market, I would wait for the Bugaboo Lynx to launch (especially if your baby is older than 6 months and you've moved on to the seat unit). It's meant to be a cheaper version of the Fox and they've removed the double-fold activation mechanisms and the flipflop-friendly brake, thus most likely reducing the internal complexity of these systems. :)
Hi, Love your videos! Thank you so much. Could you please advise stroller for my 8 month old? I live in London city and need a sturdy stroller with bigger wheels but which can fit my car trunk. Thank you
So pleased I found your channel. I’m hoping you could give me some advice. We’re expecting baby number 2 and already have the silver cross sleepover from when our now 5 year old was little. We’re happy to keep this but I’m looking for an additional stroller that we can also use regularly from birth to toddler, preferably folds with the seat unit attached but is still comfortable for baby. We’ve been looking at the Stokke Beat and the Mamas and Papas Sola2 but the lack of suspension concerns me.
I am a foster carer and in my country we do not get a budget to gear up for the children who come into our care. I am specialised in the care of babies, and as a foster carer need a rear view stroller to help them with their attachment. I used Mountainbuggy for a long time but I have found the quality of their strollers drop with each new version in the last years. Children and never older than 2,5 years when they move on so my stroller does not need to be suitable for older children. I bought a Maxi Cosi Zelia2 now and hope it will do the job for a long time.....
I watched a lot of your videos , there are so much information that I couldn’t make a choice, so I want your direct recommendation for a mom who doesn’t have a car, use public transportation, and walk a lot either in the malls or outside & finally needs something that looks nice . Help 😅
I know you prefer side by side strollers, but I live in an apartment complex, the doors to the apartments are quite slim. Only 75 cm, which stroller would you recomend for such conditions? Folding the stroller before going inside each time seems like a bit of a hassle since we use the stroller to keeep our grocieries etc when we go shopping. We live in the city, take public transportation and dont use a car. We do however not have a lot of storage space so a double stroller would either have to fold small (to be kept out of the way when Im just using a single stroller for the baby) or be a double that turns into a single. I can also add that our daycare is right outside and our toddler no longer naps in the stroller, so recline for him isnt that important
This is a really fantastic comparison and channel. I love that you give honest unbiased opinions aand especially that you are really honest about the lifespan of each pram and the mechanics of it. Would you suggest someone buying a 2nd hand (but not too old) bugaboo buffalo or try the fox? For general use, some dirt/grass eg parks and botanical gardens etc, mostly tarred/concreteroads, sidewalks malls etc. Bugaboo's will run me $2000 new here in Australia and i don't want to risk buying something that will only really be useful for a yr or 2 before all hell breaks loose in the mechanics of it. I love the squarer style of bugaboo's though and it seems most other brands have gone with an egg shape canopy these days.
Thank you :) glad that you like our channel. Re: a used Buffalo vs the Fox, if you can get a Buffalo in good condition, it's definitely the better choice. Take care of it, and it'll last you a long time. :)
Hi LOVED your video.. I am a first time parent and live in Melbourne, Australia, using public transport. I am looking for a pram/stroller for my new born coming in a couple of months everyday use and not more than USD400.Would really appreciate your help!
Love your videos! We live near Barcelona so pavement, cobbles and no snow whatsoever. Lots of car commutes and a small apartment. We're looking for a light, easy to manouver and fold yet robust enough trolley. Must be reversible (face forward and back) and suitable for newborns to at least 2 year olds. Uppababy cruz seemed like a reasonable option but we'd love your advice. Thank you in advanced
Bugaboo Fox all the way. We'll be getting to the Nuna Mixx in the next couple of months. Cruz is ok, sturdy for a smaller stroller, but the wheels are a too tiny for my taste. :)
this video is the best i have seen yet! I have been debating what to get and this helped me....but Im not entirely sure what to get still. Could you help me please?:) I live in Oslo, just 5 steps to get inside. I plan to use the stroller to walk at least 1 hour every day outside...mostly car road (which will be covered in snow obviously), or some wide dirt trails but not to heavy terrain. And also in the city/shops. I will definietly drive to some places to walk and Im 167cm tall. its important for me to have forward facing adjustable stroller. I am also planning to buy the thule jogging stroller later down the road as I am an avid runner. Thanks!!
By forward-facing adjustable, do you mean you're ok with forward-facing only? If so, then the best stroller for our conditions here in Oslo is the Babyjogger City Elite, hands-down. If you meant that you need reverse-facing, then I would recommend going for one of the following: Stokke Trailz (needs to be produced within the last year or so, as it needs to have the new-type front wheels), Emmaljunga NXT90, or if you want to go lighter, then the Bugaboo Fox is good too in it's own way. If you're buying used (as in, no guaruntee anyway), then also keep your eye out for a Bugaboo Buffalo in good condition - there's a reason you still see them everywhere. :)
Your videos are FANTASTIC. We have a Fox for everyday and are thinking of getting a Yoyo+ for travel. A quick question - I've heard you mention in passing not to use a buggy board in a few videos. Can you elaborate further on why? Is it better to get a double stroller instead? Thanks so much.
As a stroller repairman for around a decade, I've just seen too much damage caused to the rear frame and central locking mechanisms of strollers as a result of buggy boards. From the point of view of preserving the mechanical integrity of your stroller, I sort of wish that both buggy boards, and handle-mounted carrying hooks, had never been invented :) A double stroller is, thus, in my opinion, definitely a better option.
Hi! I own a babyjogger city elite which I adore, its good on snow easy to fold, folds small (I need to store it in a storage Room downstairs since I live in the 4th floor, it leaves more Room for other things), can handle all the uneven pavement and dirt roads and gravel around where I live as well as city use. It can go from newborn to all when you're done using a stroller, and its quite cheap Even new yet sturdy. However, Ive thought of something, why doesnt any mainstream brands make three wheelers with reversible seat units? Ive seen North jogger maxi 13.5 do this, but Its a low quality stroller (in my opninion having looked at one) and the seat is so small it wont last you long. Why dosnt babyjogger for example make a stroller with a premier seat and an elite chassis?
All strollers will sustain a lot of wear from just rolling up and down stairs unfortunately. Really sturdy 3-wheelers will fair best (if you hold the handle arms below the height adjustment mechanism when going up and down the stairs), but still, better to carry your stroller if possible. :)
Wow. Great video and info but now am seconding guessing my choice between cameleon and bee. Am trying to find a unicorn - daily stroller that is light weight to lift up and down stairs by someone with a shoulder injury that can take cobblestones and be used from baby and store easily... We live in Belgium - cobblestones, no car, public transit, lots of public stairs and limited accessibility but at least no snow..lol. We use the train a lot. I thought cameleon or bee but now am seconding guessing this after your reviews...
Are you opposed to 3-wheel, forward-facing only? Because the Babyjogger City Elite would be great for your conditions. If you like Bugaboo, the Fox is much better than the Bee or Cameleon and weighs more or less the same as the Cameleon. :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Thanks!! I will check out the stores near us and if they sell babyjogger. I saw also that the Fox is coming out with Fox 2 this year. If it is just a month, we may be able to wait...
Sadly the store we need to buy from does not have many of the brands that topped in your reviews. Our options are bugaboo or mutsy. With the fox, the store said April 2020. I am due mid Feb so not sure the wait is worth it.
On my second stroller now, as we are expecting baby #2 in March. Lol neither of my brands were mentioned 😂 I loved my 3 wheel peg perego stroller but unfortunately isn’t a double, so we sold it and got a contours option elite, not as fancy but really only need it for malls and summer walks on side walks or zoo like places. I am in Canada but don’t tend to go out for long hauls in snow. Hope I picked one for our needs and price point 😂
It not laziness k thanks. You a parent to a toddler. Guess not or if so must be a perfect never not listening to you. My kids 2 and has a lot of energy, when I’m by myself I can’t be running after him while leaving a baby unattended. Is he always a runner? No but he’s 2, you are expecting way to much out of a young child, they also get tired after being out and about all day, you take breaks or sit don’t you why can’t they.
Since when is a 2 year old not a toddler 😂 wow your concept of children is pathetic. Have fun being a parent one day(let’s hope you never are) And not that have to defend, but he sleeps in a regular bed, hasn’t had a soother since he was 4m old and isn’t in diapers, pull ups for potty training. Your an internet troll who looks for fights, your an idiot you wanker
Hi, Thank you so much for all these stroller comparisons! I am fascinated by strollers for a long time and seeing these unbiased, not profit- or trend-driven reviews coupled with a lot of technical expertise has really helped me made up my mind about various models and brands. Now, I am wondering what you think about the Britax Go Big, since it was the test winner among models from e.g. Bugaboo and Joolz in the most current tests by the well-established German test institute Stiftung Warentest. If you ever come across a Britax Go Big or Go Big2, please share your opinion on this model as well. It will be much appreciated! Keep up the good work! Best, Stefanie
Thanks, glad you like our videos :) We'll be getting to the Go Big in the near future. We used to repair the Go alot (back when it was Brio, not Britax) and I wasn't a big fan, but I've also heard a lot of good things about the Go Big, so we'll see :)
Hei, thanks for great videos!!! It would be very interesting to hear your opinion and/or review of ABC design Salsa 4 Air (the new diamond edition with 24 cm front wheels). We live in Norway and thinking about this model as it is not so heavy, is easy to fold, has sports seat with lie-flat position and suitable up to 22 kg (can be mounted in both directions), nice suspension and big wheels for all types of roads. It looks a bit stronger, higher, less loose and cheaper than Cybex Priam, but not as heavy and hard to fold as Emmaljunga NXT90. Also, Besafe, Cybex and other car seats can be mounted on chassis. But we didn’t have opportunity to see this stroller in real life, so it is very interesting to hear your opinion, if possible. Thanks again for good content here!
I’m a tough case: baby will be born in a city where I need a car to go virtually anywhere, and stroller will be used on malls, restaurants, airport and smooth sidewalk. Baby will be traveling from early age (3+ months). From 3+ months I’ll be moving to a big European capital where sidewalks are rough and I don’t have a car, thus will be using public transport for everything. If I could only choose one stroller, from birth to 2-3 years, which would you suggest? I thought Cybex Balios S. Or maybe buying two... but then can’t decide which.
We just reviewed the Joolz Hub, which might actually be perfect for this situation as it is small yet has decent suspension provided you're not going out in the woods with it, and the seat is only big enough to fit a child of up to around 2 and a half or so, check it out and see what you think: ruclips.net/video/iiwS8gHHIig/видео.html
In My opinion i keep going back to a Britax b ready pre 2016 , I don't know why. Is there a reason why? I had the following Graco modes Austlen entourage (with 3 Seat capabilities) Demi Grow Nuna Nuna Mixx2 City Select (triple option) City lux City mini gt City mini gt double Bugaboo b 5 Bugaboo Donkey Bugaboo Buffalo Bugaboo Fox Peg perego book Orbit G3 (with helix) Britax b ready pre 2016 Britax b free Britax b agile Britax b clever (double) Baby Jogger GT2 Baby Jogger GT2 (Double) Baby Trend Wagon Keenz Wagon Evenflo Folio3 Evenflo Pivot XPlorer Evenflo Pivot Uppababy Vista (double) Uppababy Vista Pre Gen 2014 Uppababy Cruz Uppababy G-Luxe Baby trend sit and stand Baby trend snap and go Strolly Stokke trails Strokke crusi (double) Phil & Ted's (double) Phili & Ted's (Vibe Double) Joovy (double) Zooper (double) Zoe (triple) I had Bugaboo Bee about 3 times, Bugaboo Donkey 4 times, Britax b ready about 9 times, and Austlen Entourage about 5 times. Why i cannot find the right stroller. I use them for reborn therapy dolls. I unfortunately cannot have children. Sadly.
Hi. Love your video. I live in Norway and baby is coming in winter. We live on the 2nd floor w/o lift. Have to be taking it up and down(vice versa) everytime we come and go. We don't have a car too so we need one robust, light but tolerate the cold outside and easy to drive on the snow and ice. We would love to have one we can also use on different terrain, specially on the heavy roads up to the mountains with the walking path as we love having nature tours. After reading a bit, it seems like Bugaboo fox, buffalo and uppababy vista (maybe even britax smile 2/3) is the best choice we have. What do you recommend though between this choises? Also if there is any other earlier model you mean is good aside from this would be lovely to hear. Thank you in advance ❤❤❤
Thanks :) Glad you like our videos. I personally think the Babyjogger City Elite is best for these conditions, but the seat is forward-facing only, so not everybody likes it. For reversible seat models, the Buffalo works for your offroad needs (but out of production, so you would need to find a used model in good condition) and the Emmaljunga NXT90 is good too (but a little heavy). The Stokke Trailz and Uppababy Vista are also good, but one step down for terrain capability from these others. The Fox is also great, but only for lighter Norwegian terrain.
@FearnTuckerBentley As a mother of 4, a grandmother, and great-grandmother, I have yet to see an eighteen month old child walk a mile or two. Gimme a freaking break!
Between the baby jogger city select lux and the uppababy vista v2, for a baby and a 2 y/o, which would be your top pick? Or skip entirely and go with something else?
What about Bumbleride strollers..Era/Indie? They are eco friendly! Just curious because they can work on either all terrain/city use. What's your take on these?
We'll be covering Bumbleride at some point, we don't see them much here in Norway, but I'm a big fan of 3-wheelers in general, specifically because of the terrain-capability :)
Good morning, I’m stuck between nuna mixx and the baby jogger elite. if the prices were equivalent which would you suggest? Child is 90th percentile and I’m looking for all around quality - city and manicured terrain. Mid size car trunk storage. Thank you
I enjoy the Noola Bug. The perfect combo between compact enough but very sturdy and durable. Been using for 2 years and it works great. Stokke was just too expensive for us so the Noola was a much more affordable option. What class/category would this be considered? I have no idea lol. Medium class maybe?
I haven't actually seen the Noola Bug, unfortunately, we don't have it here in Norway, but from pictures and a short product description it looks roughly equivalent to the medium class strollers we talk about in this video :)
Ok.. thnx 4 sharing these vids however, it would B VERY useful if you'd SHOW the strollers tht ur actually speaking of rthr than showing a different 1, or several different 1's. My wife & I R actively searching 4 a decent everyday twin stroller tht WILL accommodate our children up 2 say 3 or 4 yrs old. They R now almost 1 yr. old, of average ht. & wt. 4 girl & boy. A side by side is hard 2 manuver thru doors when alone & my wife is a bit petite, n e ideas on what 2 get??
If I will have 2 strollers one Thule Chariot Cross for activities and one to go to the park (offroad), grocery, etc. Would you recommand the bugaboo fox or the uppababy vista for my second stroller? Thank you
Thanks a lot for all your videos! It´s really hard to decide which one to choose... Right now I´m looking at a stroller you haven´t made a video of (I think), Easywalker Harvey 2. Do you have any experience with that one? It seems like it has good reviews in the Netherlands or something, but I find very few reviews in Norwegian/English...
I haven't checked it out yet, but it's on the list, so we'll probably get to it in a few months. Easywalker used to be one of my favorite brands, but they've sort of fallen off the market for several years now. Hoping it'll be good, though :)
Nuna strollers are a little hard to get ahold of here i Norway. But requests to cover them have been huge, so we will be ordering the Mixx from abroad later in the year. I can't really comment on the Mixx until then, ufortunately, as I haven't seen it in reality, only pics and vids :)
Julie Bruere Hi Julie. I had the same as you. I did a good research and the Nuna Mix next have everything I wanted e needed. I haven’t try because of covid19 I had some delays on shipping. But I think will cover everything I need - city, parks and travelling. Its compact, good suspension and fabric hight quality.
Thank you for this video! I've been toying with the plan for Babyzen Yoyo for when our newborn arrives as I really don't want a big and heavy pram that takes up the whole space in my not overly big boot (trunk). I live on the outskirts of London where we have nice parks but also spend time in town. Having seen your video I'm thinking we will need bigger wheels for walks but still want something light and easy to collapse for our day to day use, what would you recommend please?
Check out the Babyjogger City Mini GT (or even the Elite, if the wheels don't make the stroller to large for you). Alternatively, if you need a reversible seat, go for a Bugaboo Fox, if it fits in the trunk. :)
We would like to, but they're hard to get here in Norway. We're trying to at least get ahold of the Mixx and the Demi Grow, but might have to wait until the Corona-embargoes have entirely lifted. :)
I am now more confused than when I started lol but a very informative video worth every second. Do you have any reviews/info for European brands as I an an expat living in Egypt and there are few choices here. I am mostly interested in the heavier duty stroller with thick sturdy wheels as the pavement here isn't always smooth.
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Thanks for your help. I will see if I can get them here. Mima is a popular brand in Egypt but I don't know if it's just because it looks nice or what..Have you heard of this brand?
No, unfortunately. I did a google search now though. It looks to have a similar chassis set up to the Joolz Day (that tall jointed bar under the seat / bassinet). I can't say for sure since I haven't actually seen the stroller in real life, but this is, at least somewhat problematic on the day, mechanically-speaking. :)
Thanks for the informative video! I'm trying to decide between the cybex priam or ePriam and uppababy v2. Do you prefer one over the other? I already own a jogging stroller and the babyzen yoyo2. I will only be using it for 1 child. My main concern is the level of comfort for my child. Which can better handle a larger child (off the charts in height and weight) ? Thank you! Any input is appreciated!
Thank you for the video. Can you share your thoughts on the Silver Cross Wave? Looks like a sturdy Cadilac class with doubling capability to me. And the younger child can be place in the higher position. Do you think it is a good choice for a small town (driving a lot) living style?
I haven't actually seen the wave in reality, since it's not sold here in Norway, but I don't have a lot of faith in Silver Cross generally. My personal preference for 2-child strollers is the Donkey (side-by-side gives a more stable footprint) or a TFK if your environment is a bit rugged. When you're thinking about trunk space, a two child stroller is going to fill it up regardless of whether its in-line or side-by-side anyway. :)
Hello, your videos are very informative! :) do you have any opinion about Nuna demi grow or Thule sleek? Are they good for all terrain, compared to Uppababy vista for example?
Would you still recommend getting a Bugaboo Buffalo? I have found a new (!) one in an online store and consider buying it. Just a bit worried about spare parts and in case I'd need new fabric set/ canopies etc. after a few years. I'd like to get something that lasts for the first child and also for the next one planned. I appreciate your advice and your videos a lot!
Thanks. Glad you like our videos :) I would recommend getting it, actually. Textile sets for the Buffalo are still widely available, and if you buy it new, you will get a guaruntee from the distributor to cover any potential mechanical problems. :)
It's ok. You'll almost always get a more capable stroller when you go 3-wheeled forward-facing vs 4-wheel swivel-wheel. But I vastly prefer the Babyjogger City Elite, for comfort and functionality.
So glad to have found such a fantastic and objective channel! Question and PLZ help- what do you recommend for newborn to 2yrs stroller that will be in beach/forest/riverbend and city trekking and will need a carseat? is there something that goes from newborn to toddler or will i have to find different brands?
If it's in decent condition and fits your environment and lifestyle. :) You should check this video, if you're interested in the Buffalo: ruclips.net/video/S8EHfmA3qqw/видео.html
Any recommendations for newborn, 2nd floor no lift and very narrow stairs, no place to store it in lobby, planning quite some travelling. Also I want to use sling but I want to have option for flat sleep for newborn in pram. Thanks
When you say travelling, do you need something that folds small enough to fit as airpane cabin luggage? Also, how is the terrain around where you live?
@@BarnevognverkstedNo hi, we live in London so mostly city, lots of buses and tube. We would like to have it as a cabin luggage if possible, because we fly at least 3x per year to visit families. We are considering Babyzen Yoyo+ with new born nest as I am planning to use sling most of the time, therefore buying proper big pram is not really needed. Is there anything else similar to Yoyo+?
Right on. There are a lot of similar strollers, but so far the Yoyo+ is still my favorite (Babyjogger city tour 2 is runner-up). The Yoyo+ is pretty durable, but I would steer clear of cobblestones as much as possible. I would eventually recommend something a little bigger: to preserve the Yoyo+ from the wear of daily use, to accomodate your child comfortably after around age 2, and because most people need a bit more suspension and terrain capability than they think at first. But try out the Yoyo+, it's a great stroller to have regardless of whether you eventually get something else as well, and it tends to preserve a lot of its value on the secondary market as well. Best of luck with your new baby :)
The weight of a child riding on a sibling board over time really decreases the longevity of all strollers, but with a lightweight model like the Yoyo it's even worse. The predominant areas that wear down faster are: rear axles, ball.bearings, and the connection points between various frames and bars on the overall chassis.
@@BarnevognverkstedNo thank you for the speedy reply. This makes sense. I so appreciate your clarity, expertise and attention to detail. Thanks for helping parents in this way!
Hello As usual your reviews are detailed and thorough! Thank you Just wondering you didn't talk much about mountain buggy. I have it in double ( older version) and love it after using for almost 10 years for 5 children!!! I'm looking for a travel airplane stroller and wondering if you can make review on the mountain buggy nano. I'd love to hear your opinion on it especially to compare to yoyo or baby jogger tour2. Thanks again!
Thanks :) Glad you like our videos. We'll be doing the Nano in near future. Older Mountain Buggys are awesome, newer ones, unfortunately, aren't ussually as good, because, at least with their main-line models, they swapped out all that beautiful sturdy simplicity, for much more breakable, complex, multi-part plastic mechanisms. Not sure to what extent this applies to the Nano, but we'll go over it in the review :)
Thanks so much for your reply! I'll be waiting to hear your review on Nano. Maybe also a comparison to Yoyo or Baby jogger tour2 would be great. Thanks!
Very dependent on your lifestyle. I like the Babyjogger City Elite for 3-wheeled models, and cadillac / oversized models for 4-wheeled models (Stokke Trailz, Uppababy Vista, Emmaljunga NXT90), but these are too large / heavy for a lot of people. If you give me some lifestyle info (e.g. the sort of terrain around you, whether you use a car, need to carry the stroller up stairs regularly etc.) then I'd be happy to make a recommendation :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo I live in denver co in a 10 story building I drive a sedan so between the stroller and grocery cart I carry in my trunk I dont have much space the doona so far is great space saver but I know he will out grow it around 1 year old

@@BarnevognverkstedNo Awesome. Would you be able to include in the review how it works with a taller dad (I am just over 6 feet). Baby is due in June 2021, hopefully it is up before then :) Thanks for all of your work!
Really useful reviews, refreshing to hear an honest, impartial opinion! I was wondering if you've had any experience with the Colugo Complete? It looks great on the website, but all the reviews look like they've been cut & pasted off a press release... I'm trying to choose between smaller size every day strollers - Uppababy Cruz, Bumbleride Era, Stokke Beat etc (living in San Francisco / something fairly small & light to take up and down stairs and into car / practical sized storage), any opinions would be really helpful!
Thanks, glad you like our videos. I haven't seen any Colugo models unfortunately, but my favorite small-sized daily use models right now are the Joolz Hub and the Babyjogger City Mini GT2. The Cruz V2 is probably really good too, I just haven't gotten to have a look yet, but I trust Uppababy engineering. :)
Omds!! Am even more lost now! I need help!! My child is turning two and I need to change his stroller I use my car most of the time and only use the stroller when I shop or go for little walks!! I also travel too so WHAT DO I NEED TO PURCHASE 😫😫😫 HELP!
Did your child grow out of the stroller? Often you can adjust the straps of the harness. What is the reason you need a different stroller? Does your child want to face you, or are they okay with facing forward from now? Would you like the stroller to be very terrain capable or very light and small when folded? Do you have a budget? Asking yourself the right questions will bring you to find the right stroller.
Hei im giving birth on february and still cant decide in what stroller to buy. i live in oslo and like going out to the city but i dont have a car so probably using public transport. i like going out to city senter. but iam just 152cm so iam really looking for a stroller that i can handle based on my height☺️ can you please me an insight iam thinking of stokke xplory? or emmaljunga nxt60? or any other better idea?
Between these 2, I would go NXT60, but really for Oslo I think the following 4 strollers are my favorite (when you factor in snow and maybe the occassional trip to Sognsvann): Babyjogger City Elite, Bugaboo Fox, Stokke Trailz, NXT90. :)
Not too familiar with Nuna yet, we'll be checking it out in the near future, but as I said in the video, I strongly prefer side by side 2-child strollers to in-line strollers :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo my problem is that every stroller Max weigh capacity for each seat in side by side is 15 kg (my 2.5 year old 14.5 kg) but nuna is much stronger and can hold 20 kg per seat... 😮 would really like to know what you think 😊
The 15 kg weight capacity is written there because it is the limit set by EU regulations, to find out the true weight capacity look at the purchase info on American webstores :)
Hello I live in London and I wanted a bit of help. I live on the second floor with no lift, I have a medium size car (Mercedes a class) and I take public transport. I live in the city so I don’t really go on rubble most of the pavements are paved well. I was looking at the bugaboo chameleon and wanted some recommendations on any other strollers
I would not recommend the Cameleon due to weaknesses in the central folding mechanism, but the Bugaboo Fox would probably suit you perfectly. Despite some misinformation floating out there, the Fox is not really larger or heavier than the Cameleon, just better built. :)
Thanks. I know. I've been told this before, but I think I've been doing it for too long, and I can't quite wrap my tongue around pronouncing it the correct way. Who knows, maybe it's my lot to contribute towards a shift in common pronunciation. @@BarnevognverkstedNo Here's another one: the Emmaljunga make is pronounced "Emma-young-a" . A Swedish thing, the L in LJ is silent, like the silent K in Knife. thanks for the great videos!
I would get both, but if only one, then get a decent stroller. It's important that a newborn has the ability to lie flat most of the time. Don't get fooled by all the tiny travel stroller newborn options either, get a full-sized stroller with a bassinett / carrycot. :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo The Stroller Workshop thank you for an honest answer. As soon as I read your reply, I bought an heavyweight cadilac as per categorized in this video. Cheers! As a first time dad I would also recommend what you've said.
there's a strong suburban, big car user bias in these opinions. for any mom living in a city with a smaller trunk, the BIGGEST possible size stroller is most definitely NOT the best option.
Yes. Despite it's faults (mainly the fact that, in most cases, people have worn down their donkeys within 5 or 6 years), the comfort of use, while you are using it, far exceeds everything else I've found on the current market for a 2-child stroller.
I agree with this. I have owned 3 side by side double strollers over the years (valco, koelstra and bugaboo donkey) and the donkey was by far my favorite. a dream to push even with 2 older children, great shopping basket and very stable.

This is the best review out of all reviews I’ve seen in my entire life
I have to baby zen yoyo and I loved it!
I’d love an update on this with 2023 options!
Kind regards,
Donna
Hmmm thanks for this even though i still can't make my mind up lol
😂 I know overwhelming right ?
And how do you classify such brands as Mountain buggy, Phil and Teds and any model of Silver Cross, all 3 being quality brands?
I find it cool that some of the footage is from Barnas Hus in Norway.

Is there are any fixed wheel strollers that you know of that a Canadian can buy
Was leaning towards Uppababy Vista, but it’s just so ugly compared to other prams. I love the Joolz look and bugaboo
Excuse my English, of course I was talking about a stroller :)
Have you done any reviews or comparisons on the iCandy models?

Thanks! What do think about
nuna mixx compared to uppababy cruz and bugaboo fox?

TFK with MultiX :)
@@kaledonia1983 its bulky and heavy so what appeals to me about the city elite really isnt quite there with TFK
Which stroller best handles stairs? Our disc in the chassis broke due to our stairs
All strollers will sustain a lot of wear from just rolling up and down stairs unfortunately. Really sturdy 3-wheelers will fair best (if you hold the handle arms below the height adjustment mechanism when going up and down the stairs), but still, better to carry your stroller if possible. :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo thank you. Thoughts on uppababy?
Thanks for your videos!! What’s your idea about Mast Swiss M2 stroller?
We haven't seen it yet unfortunately. But I'll keep an eye out for it. :)
baby jogger city elite doesn't seem to exist in the usa-- what is the replacement, the summit?
Have fun being a parent one day(let’s hope you never are)
And not that have to defend, but he sleeps in a regular bed, hasn’t had a soother since he was 4m old and isn’t in diapers, pull ups for potty training.
Your an internet troll who looks for fights, your an idiot you wanker
Great great advice! One question though, what about Emmaljunga NXT Twin? Isn't it better than Bugaboo donkey?

What is your opinion on the Evenflo Pivot Modular Ttavel System?
Thank you for this great video. I would like to ask you opinion about Cosatto WOW continental. Do you find it good quality?
I haven't seen this model unfortunately, sorry. )

I just bought an evenflo and my one year old already seems like he is going to out grow it next month
@FearnTuckerBentley How far do you expect a one year old to walk??? Geez.
Hi there. What do you think of the Silver Cross Coast?
Thank you
City Elite, all the way, as long as you're ok with forward facing only. :)
Very helpful. Thank you
Ok.. thnx 4 sharing these vids however, it would B VERY useful if you'd SHOW the strollers tht ur actually speaking of rthr than showing a different 1, or several different 1's.
Thank you
Vista is a bit better. Glad to here from people who are cool with bigger strollers :)
What is your opinion on the Nuna Mixx next 2020? I leave in the country in New Zealand. Thanks
I thought Emmajlunga wasn't sold in the states anymore. Do you know where? I can't find them here in NY.
I'm not sure, unfortunately, but you can probably buy one online :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Thank you very much for your advice! I will go and see them :)
Hi thanks. Do you review nuna strollers? I noticed you don't mention them
We would like to, but they're hard to get here in Norway.
Hi, I would recommend checking out the Babyjogger City Elite, Stokke Trailz and the Emmaljunga NXT90. We have reviews for all of them. :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo I really appreciate your help. I will continue on with your recommendations and hopefully Amazon will deliver!
Hey! What do you think about beemoo flexi travel 2.0
My preference is for Uppababy over Cybex, in general, though we haven't gotten ahold of the V2, yet. IMO, the ePriam is a gimmick :)
Really comprehensive video. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on Redsbaby Metro?
I haven't seen it here in Norway unfortunately, but if we can get ahold of one, we'll take a look :)
Yes I'm looking now for the best one for my baby girl number 2❤👣
Really struggling to find a stroller for my tall 15 month old. All the seat backs are too short. Any tips?
forward-facing 3 wheelers will give you the largest seats, and are better than reversible seat models in many other ways as well :)
Hello, your videos are very informative! :) do you have any opinion about Nuna demi grow or Thule sleek? Are they good for all terrain, compared to Uppababy vista for example?
Thanks, glad you like our videos :) Both of these are coming up soon on the list, we should be covering both within the next couple of months :)
What's your opinion on the Bob revolution, especially longevity? Looking at buying one that 5yrs old
If i found Bugaboo Buffalo do you recommend i purchase?
If it's in decent condition and fits your environment and lifestyle. :) You should check this video, if you're interested in the Buffalo: ruclips.net/video/S8EHfmA3qqw/видео.html
I leave in a cold village with snow and alot of hills. We have a big car also, will you advice me to buy Stokka Trailz ?
Yes, or an Emmaljunga NXT90 :)
Or a Babyjogger City Elite :)
Hi great video! Im looking for a n affordable and ightweight travel system to take overseas for a newborn! Any suggestions?
It's not cheap but the doona stroller. I'm gonna eventually buy an off brand donna in a few years though.
You can put a car seat on the yoyo. The Bee is lightweight and great but not cabin size
Just wondering, why are you so opposed to the sibling ride-on board for the Yoyo?
The weight of a child riding on a sibling board over time really decreases the longevity of all strollers, but with a lightweight model like the Yoyo it's even worse. The predominant areas that wear down faster are: rear axles, ball.bearings, and the connection points between various frames and bars on the overall chassis.
@@BarnevognverkstedNo thank you for the speedy reply. This makes sense. I so appreciate your clarity, expertise and attention to detail. Thanks for helping parents in this way!
Hello
As usual your reviews are detailed and thorough! Thank you
Just wondering you didn't talk much about mountain buggy.
Thanks!
Hi curious if you’ve done reviews on any direct to consumer brands like colugo or mockingbird
No, not yet. Maybe in the future :)
wow. great advice
Which combo would you guys recommend to switch from when my baby grows out of his doona
@@BarnevognverkstedNo I live in denver co in a 10 story building I drive a sedan so between the stroller and grocery cart I carry in my trunk I dont have much space the doona so far is great space saver but I know he will out grow it around 1 year old
@@cloudedcolour5329 thank it looks like something I can manage and it even has a little storage basket my doona doesn't and honestly it's the only bad thing about it
Hi, do you have a review for the Bugaboo Bee5?
We have one for the Bee line in general, where all the info specifics are about the Bee 5: ruclips.net/video/38WR0bWMxGg/видео.html
Any thoughts on the Bumbleride Era?
The Era is on the shortlist, we'll probably have a video up within the next couple of months :)
What is the stroller around 8:40?
It's clearly an Emmaljunga but I don't know which model.
What Are your thoughts on the Britax smile 2?
Not a big fan of Britax in general :)
Five Stars
What do you think about Nuna Demi grow for two kids different ages?
@@BarnevognverkstedNo why on earth would europe do that? Does europe not think Heavy children exist? My son was 18.5 kg at 3...
the lj in emmaljunga makes an y sound like in the word young ! so its emma-young -a
How about Chicco Activ3 in 3 Wheelers?
I haven't seen it here in Norway unfortunately, so it's hard to comment :)
what about Joolz? do you like their products? Thank you
we will be looking at geo 2 very soon:)
I just purchased Joolz Geo 2 yesterday & it's amazing. Got it for $300 flat 🤴
Qorizon where did you get your joolz 2? It’s around 1100 where I am
Thank you for the response, I was also looking at that buggy. Do you have any recommendations outside the bugaboo brand please ?
Yah I almost didn’t watch this because I thought it was gonna be bias based on free stuff.
Very informative! You mispronounced chassis though (CHASS-ee)
Thanks. I know. I've been told this before, but I think I've been doing it for too long, and I can't quite wrap my tongue around pronouncing it the correct way. Who knows, maybe it's my lot to contribute towards a shift in common pronunciation. @@BarnevognverkstedNo Thule is also Too-lee :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Here's another one: the Emmaljunga make is pronounced "Emma-young-a"
. A Swedish thing, the L in LJ is silent, like the silent K in Knife.
thanks for the great videos!
Can someone help me? I am a father of a 4 day old daughter. I am choosing between a stroller or a carrier? Can someone recommend which is better?
I would get both, but if only one, then get a decent stroller. It's important that a newborn has the ability to lie flat most of the time. Don't get fooled by all the tiny travel stroller newborn options either, get a full-sized stroller with a bassinett / carrycot. :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo The Stroller Workshop thank you for an honest answer. As soon as I read your reply, I bought an heavyweight cadilac as per categorized in this video. Cheers!
As a first time dad I would also recommend what you've said.
Awesome!
there's a strong suburban, big car user bias in these opinions. for any mom living in a city with a smaller trunk, the BIGGEST possible size stroller is most definitely NOT the best option.
You said that the bugaboo donkey was your favorite even though it has a lot of plastic and wears out easy??
Thoughts on the Uppababy Cruz?
video is up now :)
