Can someone tell me why is this movie so hated? I just watched it, and I loved it.
Because the jokes are crap, the plot is stupid, the characters are horrible, but I guess you are young so you don't see that yet, but when you grow up, you will see the movie as an insult to comedy

I enjoyed watching this in the theater. I didn't think this film was all THAT bad. I grew up on Nintendo and Sega, and I turned out fine.
Rohan Padiyar dude, get Hyped for Ready Player One! It looked freakin good, and it's being directed by Steven Spielberg. The book was amazing, too.

Personally, I really liked the movie. The plot is for sure a bit wacky and comes off as, aliens but they are video game characters, but I found it funny and entertaining. But for the music, I LOVED, and the comedy wouldn’t be everyone’s favorite, but I sure laughed. This is a movie in which you either love it, or hate it depending on your personal opinion on comedy and plot sense.

One of my top favorite movies because it unwittingly encapsulates a moment for me. Every rainy day I'll watch Pixels (I bought the movie in 2017) and it takes me right back to the moment in early 2016 when I first saw it. Wonderful movie with a great cast.
Sandler and Kevin James are the OPPOSITE of great cast. It is basically a cast that invokes the same feeling as when you step of dogpoo.
I remember seing this film back in 2015 and I can't believe its been almost a decade ago since I remember when this film came out. This was my childhood!
I'm trying to not judge this movie over Adam Sandler, but I get flashbacks of Jack & Jill and can't help but remain skeptical.
I'll just give this movie a chance because of Pacman and DK. To hell with Adam Sandler.

Adam Sandler hasn't directed anything. He's a "writer"... a writer of such gems as Jack and Jill and Bucky Larson. The hate for Sandler is justified, since all his recent movies have been terrible.
