    sorry it is 11x27 = 297 and adding altitude so + 50 = result shuold be 347

    Great work. Easy and understanable explanations. thank you. But, in both of the examples of calculation of PA, you skipped adding elevation. was it intentionally or did i missed smth out?

      Yes, you are right, I am used to operate in a sea level airport. But yes we must add or subtract elevation

    You forgot to add the 50ft field elevation to the 297
    On the 1st equation

    why X 27, i thought it was X 30?

      30 is only used for ease of mental calculation, 27 is the precise figure, hope this helped
