Today we do things a bit different then most videos. We get out of the truck and explore the office side of the operation. I want to do more videos around the laptop, because honestly i'd say a majority of my work is done right here in this chair, but obviously it's not as fun as watching heavy machinery or seeing me break things out the middle of the landfill. Todays video showcases the power of Dockets online ordering process, and the ability for us to fine tune the ordering process to change a business model that hasn't changed much in decades. I hope you like it. Let me know if you want to see more videos like it.

Thank you!
Great Video! Very good information
Appreciate it! Hope it helps.
Look at that fresh haircut. 👊
It was about time. 🤣
Yea buddy if i step into the proper century ill likely go with docket it seems like an easier system than DRS.
Having used both I think it’s much more fine tuned and customizable, as well as being a more simple UI.
What is the price of docket monthly?
There are a few options depending on what you need and the size of your business. If you register a demo with the link, they’ll go over the different options, but I believe it starts at about $100 a month
I spy a Dumpsters in the Desert sticker. 😁
Good eye. 👁️
Do most people book online?
Majority still call, but if I’m on the road it’s nice and easy to send over a link for them.
So if someone does the pre-paid 4 ton option and only use less than 2 tons do you still send them a weight recipe of their actual weight used and do you refund the difference or is it the job is completed after you scale out and they are under their pre-paid tonnage and you close out that job ?
I’ve never had that scenario happen. As far as I’m concerned morally and ethically I’d be good with closing it out from there and moving on, but IF that ever happened I’d take the extra information into consideration.
Was it a confused old lady getting her garage cleaned out? Was it a demolition company gutting a business and just making sure they don’t exceed budget? Rarely do people OVERbook on weight. Generally they under book and I have to make judgement calls on whether to help them out with bumping their “prepaid” disposal.
Had a 1 ton booking end up being 6.5 tons a couple months ago. 🙃 I bumped the prepaid to 3 tons to lessen the blow of the additional disposal because I do charge the extra at a premium.
@@MAXCODumpsters I was just curious on how you handled situations like that.
I really like your pre-paid tonnage options and thinking about offering something similar when I get my website up and do online bookings.
I currently include the 1st ton on all my dumpsters and bill all overages at 130 per ton. I will probably always include the 1st ton on all my dumpsters just because most of the transfer stations and landfills have a 1 ton minimum in my area. So I have to pay for 1 ton minimum on each dumpster load.
Super innovative......Docket, DRS, other.....In 2024, we have to start getting creative with pricing structure as our current apples to apples pricing system/comparison will continue to be a race to the bottom. Did you have a background in web development before you got into the waste game?
Nope! Just know what I like and did a TOOOON of tinkering over the last year and a half. I broke a lot of things along the way, but with enough support tickets and research it wasn’t so bad. 🤣
@@MAXCODumpsters 1). do you use AdWords to get visitors? 2). You getting any pushback about that $.07/pound/$140/ton? 3). You have to make pricing concessions for regular contractors?
