ABOUT VOGUE
Vogue is the authority on fashion news, culture trends, beauty coverage, videos, celebrity style, and fashion week updates.
I adore his aesthetic. The eyelashes, the mustache and the pearl necklace make him look so refined and elegant.
Could not agree more!
Yes! He looks amazing, totally elegant, his drip is total class, the jewelry is beautiful, but there are other aspects to his style that have a sort of daring twist. Like, the 1960s mustache and suede coat don’t look like they’d be classy on their own in the same way, they look more like they’d be worn by a guy who Andy Warhol would turn into a superstar after picking him out of a lineup outside a leather bar. It’s all such a creative look, I love it!!
His laugh is so adorable too
I knooow! When I saw his eyelashes I gasped 🤩
Same with people with acne prone skin
Natasha Lyonne has one of the best raspy smoker voice in the industry right now
she's alwaya sounded that way since american pie lol
Right? Like the next gen Kathleen Turner
The only time I remember her voice sounding high pitched, was Dennis the Menace and it’s so odd lol
She exaggerates her NY accent... and I DO know.
@@Juliejulez there was some specific quality about her voice that was bothering me and I think it's that. I think she also says things that sound like what a humble classic New York lady would say. Ok let's just say bad acting takes you out of the scene lol
Her classmates asking “why didn’t you brush your hair?” is sooo true. The way that people view curly girls as unkempt is so backwards. when in reality curly folks put twice as much effort into their hair 😵💫
So true. I experienced this prejudice just this week when I straightened my hair and a coworker said "you look so professional!" 🤔😒😔
😊
So true
@@sadhsingh well thats definitely a microagression
That seems crazy to me, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I have straight hair and I always longed for curly hair growing up. I was never great at styling so it just seemed like you didn't have to do much for it to have some interest and flair when it's curly.
I’m falling for this woman. I’ve noticed in most all her interviews the one consistent thing that she talks about is her relationships and bonds she’s forged w ppl and THAT is someone who VALUES something real and I love it
This was so fun. She’s such an underrated actress and their dynamic is just so enjoyable.
I love her so much, she's one of my favorite people and I don't even know her in my real life, haha.
What an INCREDIBLE head of hair!!
But SHE is the crowning glory, her personality (not her hair, as glorious as it is).
She is very appreciated not underrated
I want a show of just these two!
@@kay6692 maybe in your circles but I bet that most people who follow pop culture or movie/film industry would struggle to name her.
This felt like such an elegant, retro, regal moment in time. Both Ted and Natasha are so timeless and beautiful here and also, incredibly nice people. It's surreal, how this feels like the kind of laughter, giddiness and warmth people would think about after they are gone (God forbids) of when they reminisce about lives well lived. Plus, there is an alarming amount of beauty in this video. Loved it!
er wow i love this!!? very well put
This is such a sweet comment!
fun fact: natasha lyonne is the coolest person alive
I get high asfc in all my RUclips videos 🥶💯 come join the best community on RUclips ….
And the hairstylist is so beautiful. 😍
That is just science.
yup, and she’s best friends with chloe sevigny too! it’s like the ultimate cool duo friendship
This is actually true it’s the first thing taught in school 🏫
Yup....As an Arab American woman when I was in grade school people would call my hair pubes...in HS a guy told me I'd be a "knock out" if I had a nose job....funny thing is at 40 now, I feel more beautiful than I ever have and it has nothing to do with how anyone feels but me. I'm glad that the world is embracing all types of beauty. I just pray that people realize that it's not the world that needs to accept you...it's you. God Bless!
as an indian gurl with a big nose too i wanna freaking "knock out" the person who dared to say that to you! so glad you've accepted yourself now
Thank you
Yes. Thank you. You're quite right dear.
Thank you. ❤️
❤❤❤❤❤
I adore redheads (always have, always will), and Natasha's hair has that 'Art Nouveau' shade that's just gorgeousness... 💖
Gosh they are such a vibe... Her wearing her natural curls gave me the confidence to find my frizzy naturally curly hair just acceptable and lovable
Love that she has a literal mane that fits her last name 🦁
i totally agree with people seeing you as "wacky" when you wear your hair naturally and agreed so much i said "yeah" out loud to myself as if i was on a call with her lol
Same! I think the word "wacky" hits the nail right on the head, it's like people can't take you serious because when they look at you all the can think is "hair"
right! or “free-spirited” 🙄
@@yeahright3145 or wild 👀
There is nothing more naturally artistically beautiful than Natasha's entire head. Perfect EVERYTHING! Actually makes me slightly emotional, especially when she's being her natural quirky/humorous self.
Hearing Natasha talk about growing up with curly hair was so something I needed to hear as well!
It was such a struggle as a kid and my mom didn't know what to do with my texture so it's been quite a journey!
Thank you Natasha for talking on it!
Same girl
Same! My mom keeps saying my hair looks dirty,
Why don’t we see more of her? She’s such a vibe. I love Russian Doll season 1 & 2
She comes out in Orange is the new black 🗿
I first ever saw her in American Pie when I was younger lol .
she did a lot of stuff. they’re mostly indie and not in the mainstream.
There is a new season of Russian Doll I think
She’s really good in But I’m a Cheerleader! Def recommend
I'm absolutely crazy for a massive curly mane, and Natasha's is MAGNIFICENT! I LOOOOOVE IT!
I always wanted to find international friends to improve my English and make friends of course 😭 but it is harder than I thoo
Love NL in Russian Doll. She is such a unique beauty and talent. I enjoyed seeing her personality and sense of humor in this. 😀
1. Ted is literally gorg, lashes for days
And 2. It is soo true, as someone who has not just curly hair but extremely voluminous hair whenever i wear it natural people treat me soo different. People always assume im some hippy dippy flower child and as a biracial person i have always hated that stereotype because it's soo not my style at all. It's takes a lot of not just confidence but energy to really rock your hair like that all the time but she looks great.
Same!! They think I’m like more alternative or something, it’s strange
I absolutely noticed a difference once I stopped straightening my hair. It even makes ME feel different! But I am a hippy dippy flower child, so maybe that's why ✌🏽☺️💜
@@joycewible8816 your hair is gorgeous btw
I love Ted wearing false lashes as part of his "normal" you look so professional
Just finished watching Russian doll series. This woman is my soul.
FR I wanna be her
I Loved the Show! So Amazing!
@@pamelahinchee8012 makes you question what is going to happen next.
I so loved the duo. Two great people. As someone with super straight hair, Natasha's hair is a mystery in the best possible sense. I'm obsessed with her look and wish I had it too, though I know the grass is always greener on the other side.
She makes me feel proud of having curly hair ♡
I got curly bangs cut after watching season 1 🙌
@@Nature_Gal1111How
So interesting what she said about not being taken as seriously with curly hair. It is gorgeous too.
I really relate to her comments about having curly hair as a kid vs in high school, and then as an adult being taken more seriously when your hair is straight. I loved this video so much!!
I have loved this woman since Slums of Beverly Hills. She just exudes cool. Like your coolest best friend ever. Always has a cigarette to lend.
Natasha Lyonne is just plain fab, someone I would to be friends with. And Ted Gibson is a truly magical creator. LOVE!
She has been through it and emerged happy and successful on the other side. Good for her!
I have always been obsessed with her hair! Ever since Slums of Beverly Hills.
I love this conversation because both having naturally curly hair myself & growing up in a predominantly black community, it was so ingrained that "curly hair is meant to be either straightened or tamed by some heat", and back in the 90s & early 2000s it would be weird to me to want to wear your hair in its natural state instead of manipulated by heat. But now that we know so much about textures & heat damage & chemical damage & most importantly (to me) we've gotten rid of the stigmas that you only wear fake hair (protective styles) to hide something or to perpetuate something, when in truth it is & has long been a way to protect your hair & scalp depending on the hair, scalp or method. We really are in the era of "do what works for you", and I love that & love promoting that.
Aw, Ted!! I remember his TLC, What Not to Wear days and have always loved his warm personality ❤ I love this pairing of beautiful souls! xo
I know he really brought some much needed kindness to that show, the hosts were always so catty
She's beautiful. Love her hair, the fringe!... love it!
LOLOL 'we just need a bit more' - that part killed me. Love this look and this duo together. Perfection!
Your consistency and quality of content never disappoints!
i love her voice
Love her & Russian Doll Season 2 she’s needs alll the awards 🤩
She’s absolutely insane and I love how different magazines just let her talk. This one is 10 and her ASMR video was 30 😂
What, she has an ASMR video?! ~runs away to find~ 🙉❤
Oh I feel her, I have very frizzie thick curly hair, a lot like hers. I was bullied in elementary and middle school because of it. Mushroom head was their favorite, then in highschool watching them all get perms in the 90s was hilarious. I love my hair, it’s a lot like hers. Only now at 40 do I appreciate it. Now theirs is thin, scraggly and falling out, all getting hair extensions just to look like they have hair and here I am with my still thick curly hair living my best hair life while they spend 1000’s to try to resemble it.
Omg, same here! At 43 I finally fully appreciate all this unruly hair I am fortunate to still have. 😂 😂
"I want them to think, 'Where's her body hiding?'" Lolololol Natasha is a such a dear ♥
i freaking love this girl! hilarious, gorgeous and cool. this hair is STUNNING!
Love the hairstyle, I think bangs on curly hair looks so cool. And love Ted Gibson, he's so talented!
She is a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!
The cool water rinse!!! Yes!!!!!! It took me about 20 years to learn how to maintain my curly fro! And learn to love it! And still learning. Trust the process.
Natasha is not only beautiful and fun but one of the best actresses in the business. She is also a fashion icon.
I’ve always loved this woman. She’s so beautiful.
All her hair experiences for being a curly hair girl I grew up with too! In Spanish they would call me "bruja" or witch. It hurt then but now I aim to look as witchy as ever possible 🧹!
I have always loved Natasha-and seeing her finally feel good, be healthy and happy is an absolute joy
Such a great conversation about hair and identity. Loved to see the dynamic between Natasha and Ted.
"The sexiness of it is the frizz"...I love that.
This was so relaxing to watch and I love their voices too
Love it! It’s giving me pre-Raphaelite diva vibes! Gorgeous! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Dante Gabriel Rossetti eat your heart out!
I loved this! She is amazing and they have a wonderful dynamic with each other, you can clearly see how much they enjoy spending the time together......and the end "hair" result is incredible
I normally NEVER leave the house without a blowout. After watching Russian Dolls, I decided to embrace my inner floofy, frizzy, wavy, curly hair occasionally. I just tell myself, my hair is not big I am just channeling Natasha Lyonne 👌🏻👌🏻💯. And yes growing up I would envy girls with “wash n’go” hair.
Shiny Natasha..lights up every room with her spirit and snark. She's a real crass act and classy, as well
Totally loved this ! And really like to see other Women with the same hair as me - There are lots of us that didn't get to be Disney princesses until Brave came out!! 😁❤
"the sexiness of it is the frizz" THANK YOU TED!
Russian doll came out just as I cut my curly red hair exactly as the character has her hair. It was uncanny how much it looked like mine. Everyone was telling me about the show
Their dynamic and friendship is so beautiful i loveee itttt
I LOVE her hair and her too. This look is everything.
So beautiful. My fave on Orange is the new Black. 😍
I fell in love with her after Russian Doll. Kind of she has similar character with Nadia in a real life.
P.S. in the movie she is Aries and in the real life Aries as well. 😉
Have you seen season 2? If not you’re going to love her even more
@@beckyy584 I am watching right now.
Thats right :)) I love her with red Hair. She looks so nice ❤️ Season 2 is now on Netflix, in Germany ;)
I know her in orange is the new black!
Love the new season of Russian Doll so much!
Darling Ted such a beautiful evolvement you have had. I remember watching you on what not to Wear and thinking how talented you were then. Talented and ridiculously patient LOL thank you so much for the share
She has the most beautiful hair I have seen
Man, Natasha is so great. Just love her. What a stunner
As someone with thick, frizzy, red hair - I feel so represented by Natasha :')
The “more! More!” Part at the end 😂 hysterical
Curly vs straight bias is a real thing! Thank you!!!!
Excellent tips, thanks Ted! And I've loved Natasha since the 90s so it's always great to see her in my feed!
Her voice goes with her gorgeous hairdo, for what ever that means. Love her voice lol.
i love natasha's personality, she seems so chill, like a cool aunt
Love Natasha! I've been following her since we were kids. She is awesome and so real!
I unapologetically love Natasha Lyonne
gosh she is beautiful
These two are delightful to watch.
she is gorgeous!
I love that woman. Gorgeous, intelligent, humorous. And that big, curly red hair... ❤
I'm such a huge fan of this woman!!!
I could listen to her talk for hours
I have curly hair, my mother's hair is straight. When I was little, my mother used to comb my hair every day and said that my hair would be shiny and beautiful like that, while I hated my hair for years. it was so frizzy and awful. I used to braid my hair all the time. I was 19 when I realized how beautiful my hair was and I only combed it when I go to shower, other than that I never touched my hair. I think straight-haired mothers whose daughters have curly hair should be educated :)
I have thick wavy curly hair. As I child my mom dealt with super short cuts for me and my little sis. My older sis had the 'good' hair and was allowed to have it long and use bows and clips.
I finally got brave enough to grow my hair out in my 30s and though its very hot and heavy in the summer, I finally feel like this is what I was supposed to look like.
What a fun couple of friends! And I got a few tips for my curls!- Danke!
Would LOVE to see a Natasha Lyonne Beauty Secrets video, with her Killer sense of humor, quick wit, and Chrissie Hynde meets Stevie Nicks lived-in eyeliner and mascara
The duo I didn't know I needed 😍🔥
Obsessed with this series
This was a conplete an utter delight to watch, thank you!
I absolutely adore this hair. It fits her personality so well. She looks like one of the models in the Waterhouse paintings.
YES to Waterhouse paintings, so perfect. Maybe "Miranda" in front of the roaring sea storm, or "Circe Invidiosa" (though Circe is a brunette in that painting)... 😍
the last shot! so well done!!
One of my all time favorite actresses!
Love Ted! I also was teased for having curly red hair and not California silky blonde. Beautiful job. Looks very Pre-Raphalite !
I have loved watching her since I saw “Slums of Beverly Hills” as a child. her beauty is classic❤️
She’s a legend 🙏🏾 I grew up watching her!!!
I love her, she's such a broad. Like, a classic broad.
ted looking like an amazing legend he is
The way she spoke in the intro was pure Nadia 🤣
She has this cool auntie, best friend, rebellious chick thing going on which I find sooo attractive. Ugh. ❤️
& i WANT that Living Room. 70's & 80's forever!!!!!!!
She is like the coolest person ever!
Ted has the most calming and soothing voice. He should be reading bedtime stories on Audible!
Love this! Love them! I experienced this when working in the fashion industry in NYC in the 90s. If I left my hair wavy &/or wore these heavy horn rimmed glasses people would look right past me. When I straightened my hair & wore contacts people would speak to me directly, look straight into my eyes & listen to what I had to say. One could get into all the reasons why, feel “less than” etc, but I merely noted it & used it as a tool to make my way. Today living in SoCal now most days I wear it in long layers & let it dry naturally def feeling the Lady Godiva where’s her body vibe. Sometimes I restructure & smooth the waves & curls & once in a while I straighten it. The sleek bangs & long straight hair still is an attention grabber. There should be a guide book “ how to wear your hair to command a vibe & influence people- how to get “a-head”.
This hair stylist is a true artist.
Natasha is sooooo beautiful
What a lovely hair stylist. 🥰 I’m gonna embrace my multi texture hair.
