Welcome to the “Island Born of Fire”, Camiguin is an island province in the Philippines located in the Bohol Sea, about 10 kilometres off the northern coast of Mindanao.
It’s a paradise that remains relatively undisturbed. It is home to seven volcanoes & some of the most beautiful falls in the Philippines. It also boasts of crystal clear waters and a rich and diverse marine life.
There is so much to see and do in Camiguin! The 6 days we spent was not enough to explore even half of what the island has to offer.
Thank you to the kind people behind Sangkalikasan (Jojo, Sim, Bert & Alex) for hosting us.
We had a blast exploring your Coral Nursery in Cabuan and the turtle sanctuary in Mantigue Island is nothing but the best!
The next time we get the chance to visit Camiguin, top on my “to explore” list would be the Sunken Cemetery and Giant Clam Sanctuary.
