I can just never justify the costs of these meals. I always go to order them and back out at the last minute because I know I can create the same meals at a fraction of the price. If I understood correctly that EveryPlate grilled cheese and tomato soup was 4 servings, meaning $32 for grilled cheese and soup... outrageous! I mean you could go to Panera and let them cook it and clean up for the same price. I appreciated your honesty and thorough preparation in filming this.

This was pretty interesting. I live alone so have never really considered this type of service but can see where it could be adapted. The tendency is for me to skip meals or just snack, so this might be a way to get a better balance of nutrients. Thanks for the comparison. Who knew ramen could look so good!
I just started everyplate, now I'll have to be on the lookout for the next time the grilled cheese and soup is offered - looks delish! Great tip on the immersion blender. Also FYI that currently the price as of january 2022 is $6.49/serving for everyplate ($29.94 for 6 total servings over 3 meals + $8.99 shipping), and the student discount has slightly changed. It now nets you 60% off your first box, and 20% off your second and third boxes. After those 3 boxes there are no other discounts for students. Great review!
I like that fact that you can keep you recipe cards and recreate the meals ( for the most part ) yourself if you really like a meal and want to be a little more cost effective by purchasing the ingredients yourself.

I know this comment may be old, but I'm a single man who lives by himself, hates going to the grocery store, and gets stressed out by meal planning. I recently found out that one of my friends has been using every plate for years now, and I just ordered my first box, and have cooked two recipes from it. It has eliminated food waste, which is super important to me, is affordable, and gets me to try out things I never would have otherwise. After spending so much on Uber Eats and takeout, which is not only unhealthy but costly when you order it every other day, or every day like I was doing. I work an extremely busy job and was skeptical of meal kits at first, but I may try some others in the future besides Every Plate. For me, as a single person, it does the job for now, and got me out of the takeout train, food waste, exhausting trips to the grocery store etc. Thank you for your honest review, I am so glad I decided to give a meal kit a try. Totally worth the money so far, and no stress about what is for dinner some nights, I just cook what's in the recipe. Thank you again for your honest review.

I have wanted to try some of these kits, but what my husband likes and what I like are quite different. He won't eat peppers, seafood or fish and I am not big on meats like steak and pork. I would probably enjoy the vegetarian selections, but him, not so much. And I am not even going to think about my teenager eating and enjoying one of the meals. Too many flavor profiles for him. Thanks for breaking down each kit. It seems like I hear a lot of people using Home Chef. Maybe some day:)

I will get it a couple of times a month, sometimes skipping a month or so. I love their Keto and Paleo meals. The food is super high quality and I love the sauces that usually come with the meals. :)
My favorites are the same, only in reversed. I stil think Blue Apron has the most sophisicated meals, and I love being able to build up my recipes for future use. They are making me an amazing chef.
I won't do the meal kits but those recipes are easy to recreate! I'll be making some of these. These kits would make a great gift for college students or newlyweds as well.

(U would b a great teacher).😍 I have never made homeade tomato soup and now I gotta try pepper Jack cheese on my grilled cheese.... something I need to try.. and..( i forgot i got my meat chopper tool also) and I'm not a fan of raw onions either.. kick it up a notch... BAM!😂😂😂😂😂

I want to eat healthier instead of getting so hungry that I reach for quick food choices that are unhealthy. BTW I eat the stems of the broccolini. Because it is younger, it is more tender. Yes, I love homemade tomato soup. I just ate some (from a restaurant) today and am trying to tear apart the ingredients to make at home. It had basil and a little heat (maybe cayenne).
I make a Mediterranean chicken dish all the time - love it. Rather than the TJ 21 Season Salute, try the Greek seasoning mix from Fresh Jax - it's great. Loved the video. Thank you.
