I bought a macbook M1 with 8gb ram and 256gb storage for coding and programming 1 year ago.
It started well but now I am in 2nd year of AIML COUSE and almost every single software I have to use is cracked and is not supported well with Mac M1 .
So don't recommend M1 rather my friend has M2 and M3 they are optimised well for programming.
Also M1 is 5 years old and according to the pace at which the AI is evolving M1 falls behind.
Now 1 week ago I bought a Gaming/ performance laptop for CSE aiml and this is very well recommended.
Also watching you and didi from 3 years.

I got an offer for a laptop which had Intel i7 processor (10th gen) for around 14k and MacBook air for 22k in second hand (both were working fabulously) but I didn't had that much knowledge about laptops, so I dropped those offers.

22k for a macbook air is a good deal tbh just make sure the laptop is not older than 2018 as older models have magsafe charger and is inconvenient at time and check if the laptop has original display as many laptops (macbooks) have third party displays and are terrible
