Ive been binge watching your videos. I lovd what the rust water does to the various things you used. Especially the muslim fsbric. I got 5 yds at my senior center for $1 which is our normal pricing unless we have a .25 sale like this month. You have some different ideas and im enjoying watching. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and you leave me so inspired.

Such beautiful, interesting papers - won't those be fabulous in a journal! I just love any sort of distressing technique and I love how you put so many different papers in the mix. What fun to watch these! Thanks for another great video!

@annekenlon thank you Anne! I was in the middle of making clusters out of some of those scrappy bits, saw your video on organizing scraps, and now I'm looking for items to do just that. You're so inspiring!! Thank you so much😊❤️

When I was a kid, we would go to the City Plunge aka Pool, and these pins were on the metal baskets we put our clothes, etc in while we were in the pool. We would take the pin off and in it on our bathing suit, so when we were through swimming, we could give the pin back to get our basket of clothes. I have some now but not distressed.

@sharonbennett2953 yes,,I remember that! I knew they looked familiar,, yes,, thank you! Funny. I know they're used for dry cleaners, as another viewer said, but I remember doing this now that you said it. 😊❤️

Laundry pins are used in the Dry Cleaning shops to identify whose clothes they are. These pins can go into the dry cleaning solution where paper cannot. My first job was at a Dry Cleaners. Did you add water to the solution? I would be afraid that the Hydrogen Peroxide might eat through some papers or fabrics. But then I've never tried this so I can't say for sure. I really LOVE the rust effects! Great job! Thanks for sharing this with us. The other video that I watched about rusting things took weeeks and I didn't want to wait that long. Yours is much faster and easier.

@InzpiredDezignz interesting! I wondered why they called them that, and that makes total sense. Thank you! No water,, just the original solution of vinegar, peroxide, and salt. I wonder if I should be adding water?? In my case, I wouldn't mind if it eat through. The more grungy the better for me, but now I'm curious. I'll have to play with adding the water. Thank you so much!😊❤️

@hunnyprice9824 awesome,, thank you!! You don't know unless you ask!! So, please, always ask me. You can get at Walmart, Amazon, etc. It's called butterfly pea, blue tea. Use it the same as you would normal tea. Make it really strong, because it fades a lot. 😊❤️

4th attempt to post this comment, for some reason not posting, soooo.... you may end up with this showing 4 times at some point?? lol
"That's a lie"... "Again, not true"... oh my gosh, I was just dieing, lol 😂🤣😂 Did you happen to watch Dragana's video from Saacibo on using leafs, putting them through a embossing machine, then using rust water to change the print color of the leaf?? It's awesome and I think it's something you'd like doing if you haven't see it, I've done a bunch of them. I cut all my tongue depressors into 3 pieces each and rounded the edges, and found the baggie of wood pieces, they're nice and thin, so hope to get them embossed this weekend 😊 Thanks for showing the "laundry" pins, of course I had to pause the video and see if I could find any on Ebay, lol. I chat with Sharon, from BeaDivine Vintage, she had some she rusted a while back, hers were silver in color and rusted nicely, so yep, now I NEED some... 🤭 My oldest brother and his family lived in Union Mills, MO for over 20 yrs, they just moved back about a year ago, they bought my parents house after Mom passed, so nice to have them back and we all still get to spend all the holidays at "home" 🥲 ...thinking you mentioned living in MO 🤔.... if not, never mind, lol 🥴 Awesome video and information, and like you, yes, I love the surprise of what I get, especially when using leafs and flowers when Eco-dying, time to get back to Ebay and see what I can find.... geesh!! 💜😊💜

You probably told me, and I've forgotten. Thank you for your wonderful comments. I always enjoy reading them❤️

@@CraftedByChristyShop I love writing, it's a lost art, so I tend to get carried away when commenting on videos, lol. 😁
I live in Hobart, IN, and nope, I never told you, so your memory is good there, lol. The closest place you've probably heard of is Gary, IN, yep, the birthplace of Michael Jackson, also, it's no longer the murder capital of the states, there aren't many people left there.
Here's the link to Dragana's video, I think it's right up your alley:
