The nurse is really useful, you can use it for bosses, but some people say it is kinda unfair, I personally think yea except for the later bosses. For events/ invasions, dying and rescanning with half hp I think, and many more. The more npcs mean the less enemy spawn. Also the bombs are useful for the blocks that you couldn’t mine.
How I always use the nurse is when I die during an invasion event I heal then continue to fight. Also you can use her during boss fights when your potion is on cool down

That red biome has some thing name shadow ore its like a heart breake it an it will drop a weapen if it long range an NPC will move in a gun dealer wath out breaking those shadow orbs if you break 3 a boss will spawn that your not ready for

Most likely in your desert, there is a temple with a old man, and if you curse him, he summon's a boss, when the boss is destroyed, you get, loot, and acsess, to the dungeon, throught the temple door, that you will be able to pen when the boss, is defeated. that boss name , is "Skeltron", a giant flying skeleton looking thing.

The fish you have the quest item one you have to give to another Npc named...I forgot but he asks you to find rare fish and if you do he gives you a reward
Are you using the anvil if not lower it cause with that much iron bars you should be able to make armor weapons something if it doesn't work lower anvil please

The Nurse is quite useful as a Tactical quick heal if you're fighting bosses. She will heal you fully and also can heal herself.

I wouldn't recommend buying dynamites, they are so expensive and not that efficent, also make slime bombs they are much easier to use
