Goldie was so ahead of his time. How on earth is this 30 years old?! Absolutely mind blowing stuff, twists your brain around all sorts of places.

      What a strange comment!
Techno is still going strong! Rave in the guise of Jungle and DnB is still going strong!
This whole E.P. *was* ahead of its time.
If you were raving in '92, you'd know. If not, take a listen to a lot of '92 rave tracks. There wasn't much on this level!

Such an amazing riddim. 31 years old now and still sounding fresh! One of my prized vinyls from way back when!

This is probably the most underrated track on the EP. When I first heard this being played at Music Power records it nearly blew my head off. This is the first track I'd heard from the EP long before Terminator itself. And I always much preferred it to be honest. Harking back to a much darker, more techy hardcore, in yer face past rather than a jungle drum n bass future. Much, much darker. But every track on this release is a winner for completely different reasons. This one just brings back more vivid memories for me :)

Synthetic hardcore pornography, original vinyl ,then terminator,e.p, this tune is the ruffest, no one ever plays it,maybe because, it's a pain in the arse to mix, fuck it,from the very edge it deserves,it's easier to mix out

@@mpf_agundipsht3619Prodigy brought out the original mix of Everybody In The Place in Feb 1991 (on the What Evil Lurks EP). Terminator was made in 92. So Prodigy were much earlier, but yeah this EP broke ground and was one of the main ones that lay the template for how hardcore would evolve into Jungle

      Exactly mate!!
I've always listened to this *way* more than Terminator (which got all the plaudits)!
Immense track, so many layers and sections.
The whole E.P. blew my head off 31 years ago. Damn.....can't believe I'm middle-aged now!

Not strictly a Metalheadz release (the first was V.I.P Drumz, which I'm proud to own), but this E.P. was the blueprint for the 'headz sound.
I've been to all the Metalheadz 30th birthday London gigs.....going to the London finale at Camden Palace (it's not Koko to me, lol) on 18 Oct' 2024.
If Goldie played this....I'd honestly lose my shit! Better than Terminator!
Doubt it will get played, but you never know!

So you must be 55 now! Were you raving in '88? I wish I was.
      I didn't start until '92!
46 now and have around 850 vinyl all bought BITD from '88 (when I was 10/11) to 2000. I last bought some in the 2nd COVID lockdown (a few bits of mid 2000's DnB off a mate, and some brand new stuff), but vinyl is so expensive now and I don't really have the money or space!
I did twist my wife to get me a Lucky Spin repress at Christmas. £25 bloody quid including postage!!
Anyway, always wicked to see older headz who still got a passion for it!

Good tune. But terminator was a game changer. I won't hear different. Remember first hearing it at orange at the astoria. Thinking wow this sounds so different. No wonder we needed whizz along with our pills.just to keep up.

      @breakfreak3181 11 месяцев назад +1

I know you know your tunes mate (I've seen your comments over the years on YT, and we probably went a lot of the same raves, I used to go Astoria too for one, lol), and don't get me wrong, I love Terminator.
I got this E.P. as soon as it was on the shelves at Blackmarket....but over the years, I've come to *much* prefer this track. Same timestretches as Terminator, but musically, this is epic. There are so many different sections.
Menace (on the Rufige Kru E.P. is the one though!)
Anyway, big up mate, I know you're an original 90's head!

Compared to Terminator or Kemistry, or maybe even Sinister, it might feel like no-one played it, but it got played on pirate & in AWOL. It's a great and worthy track but overshadowed by Terminator, which it shared a few samples with and, frankly, Terminator just worked better.

You two are lucky, man! I only ever heard this in my bedroom, or at parties that me and my friends were DJing at. Never out at a rave. I heard the 3 other tracks out plenty of times! And this is actually my favourite track off this E.P......then Kemistry a close second. Especially the dubplate version of Kemistry Grooverider used to drop. Memories!
