- We were kindly invited to investigate the Blyth Hotel, as the new owners had been experiencing some odd happenings. We certainly didn't expect to experience what we did in there.
Thanks to Robyn and Mark from the Blyth Hotel for hosting us for the night. It was such a great night.
Please note that these videos were originally designed as live streams on our Facebook page to highlight haunted tourism sites that you can visit yourself. For this reason, the video is not intended to be broadcast/documentary quality.
We are not presenting this as proof that ghosts exist; we are just sharing some interesting moments during our investigation. What you make of it is what you make of it.

That was awesome!! And it appears the pub is in the best hands it could be in, looks like all the old inhabitants are very very happy :)
It does seem that they like the new owners, especially as they have so much passion for their new hotel and are comfortable living with whoever is still around. Thank you for watching :)
Hi girls yet another amazing location I will definitely keep this wonderful old pub in mind for a schnitzel if We are in the aria. When the question were you the man near the fireplace was asked and the tape played back I heard man before anyone mentioned it. To me there were too many relevant words towards the family and the previous owners to be coincidence. I would love to know if anything happened over night. Excellent job as usual fun and a lot of laughs it would be so much fun on one of your adventures.👍🏻👍🏻👻👻👻
Thanks Geoff, pleased you enjoyed. It definitely is a wonderful old pub that is worth the visit. Thank you for watching ❤❤
Really enjoyed watching this one. Some intriguing responses and, as always, some good laughs! And what a lovely family the Conroys are. I think they brought some good energy to the investigation. It would be great to see a follow up investigation at the pub some time down the road.
We would love to get back there down the track. They are so lovely and fun to work with. Thanks for watching :)
Sent over by Paranormal Quest, and LOVE the video!! You ladies make it so much fun. Am a new sub now! 🤩👻
That's awesome and welcome. So pleased you enjoyed it, the Blyth although not a famous place, has certainly become one of my favourites. Thank you for watching 😊
Thanks for all the good investigations! Relaxing and fun to watch you girls always good energy! 😁🌻
Thank you! We love sharing and glad our more relaxed and natural sense of fun we have is being enjoyed. ❤
Woof! That WAS amazing. You HAVE to go back. He's hilarious! (Paul? - I'm bad with names). And his daughter is such a honey. Very interesting place. You guys rock. 💜 Oh, his wife has joined. Lovely!!!!!! xxx
We so want to. This was when the hotels were quiet due to Covid. Now I think they have people staying there. Maybe I will follow up on this.
@@haunted-horizons Ah. Good luck!
I'm a new sub and came over from Amy's Crypt and Paranormal Quest. This investigation was pure genius! The conversation was possibly the most intelligent I've ever seen! Loved it!!!
Welcome!! Love those guys and miss PQ now they have returned to the USA. We certainly didn't expect too much when we first went, but it went on to become one of my favourite investigations. Thank you so much for joining us and watching 😊
Sorry I'm late
At least you got there :)
Awesome as always!
Thanks Melissa :)
We were happy to see the Blyth hotel looking good with its new renovation.
We know the town and area well for we have conducted business in the Mid North for generations.
When we accidently came across your video on ghosts at Blyth we were shocked that someone could do such a thing to a heritage town.
All of you should be ashamed, there was no respect or thought for others.
Blyth was/is a Christian Lutheran town. Industry and farming.
The town doesn't need this kind of reputation. You do yourselves no favors in the long run.
The town needs to attract a positive family orientated environment for it to once again thrive.
If you want to make money do it with respect taste and maturity. Not dragging a good town down.
Leave the ghosts of the past in peace.
Our dogs won't welcome you to our property.
Hi Elle,
I am unsure what you are alluding to. Hopefully I can explain a little better though as to our intentions when we went there and put any concerns to rest. We were invited out of curiosity by the owners. No money was made, in fact it costs us money to do these visits as we always believe in paying our way with local businesses and encourage others to visit and do the same. For instance the waffle place there was to die for when we had breakfast.
I am in tourism, COVID crippled tourism, so we decided to help highlight other businesses by doing these videos. They were hit hard by covid too and needed as much support as they could get. The videos are chiefly about the history, the beautiful locations that people can visit themselves, with a short investigation to help create more interest. By doing so, more people now know of Blyth, the Hotel and hopefully will bring more trade to the town. Surely that can only be a good thing?
As for being ashamed, I cannot feel that, as my intentions are good and I am just trying to help these places. It is up to the owners of these buildings to contact us and request, we do not chase and we do not charge. Ultimately they are the ones who decide what they want to do in their own building, as is their right. It was a one off, nothing more, so you need not worry.
Hopefully, that answers some of your concerns 😊

Thank you for your response to my post.
It is understood the new owner of Blyth hotel contacted you for some assistance regarding recent " activity". We appreciate that everyone has been hurt by the CV19 pandemic. Some more than others, in different ways. It is good to see the old pub tastefully renovated and the meals certainly have a good review.
The simple fact of ghost hunting is not the concern. We all like a ghost story. It is the way things are conducted and the fact that family of the "ghosts" are still alive. History and heritage are to be respected. Family see your video They have wealthy heritage to the area and become distressed by the comments and the fact you may be talking to their deceased relatives. We know it is not your intention to distress people.
The children of the hotel in Moonta are well documented and generations of their relatives still grieve today. Yes of course the owner has the right to do whatever they wish in their own property. The recent revamp of Blyth District Hospital. Was particularly upsetting. To see bars on rooms. It is past words. We know you are not responsible. Blyth had the highest standards of training and care. The town kept the hospital going without any gov funding. It is not a prison or an asylum. To have both the pub and the hospital. Take this flavour. Is distressing. Please take this into consideration when you are doing your next ghost hunt. A positive outcome is desired, for all concerned. Once again thank you for your response and the opportunity for discussion.
Such a beautiful hotel!
You got some amazing responses during the estes session. Great video.
It so was and the family were so wonderful to work with. Would love to get back there :)
Loved this investigation at the pub. What a lovely family who run this hotel. The spirits are so talkative , very Australian and friendly. Would love to go to the Blyth and stay there. Thanks Alison and Kag for showing us the charm of this place love to you all Aussie Sam😊❤oxo
It was such a surprise and how lovely were they. We felt like we had known them for years even though it was our first time. I think they have accommodation there now.
One of the best episodes, yet ! So funny 😂 ! Don't forget to come back to this place !
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The family was so lovely and we had so much fun there. Hopefully, one day :)
What a pleasant family and establishment. I'm not sure about the Estes method still. It is so subjective. I did enjoy the video.
Aren't they a wonderful family. He was so much fun to have onboard for the night. I love bringing these different personalities to the episodes, as we get to meet such lovely people as we travel around.
Lovely family, so into their "Guests" and the ladies are really good on the Esty. Brilliant communication coming out of it for Alison and them. especially the female moan and the "bad boy...woof". Definately worth a visit back ...and a Podcast about this video.
They are an amazing family and so much fun to work with. The podcast will be coming, I am sure :)
Not taken seriously enough too much laughing and fooling around which is actually dis-respectful and not encouraging to Spirits
Hi Gary, thank you for commenting and for watching. I am a little confused on the 'disrespectful' part as we are never rude and never provoke. We do however, see them as people, like you and me, who all have different personalities and like different approaches. The only fooling around Kag and me do is through our bantering and natural sense of fun. It is only aimed towards each other and never towards the spirits. In between those moments, there is a lot of serious investigating... a lot of it is edited out because nothing is happening.
Don't be fooled by our videos as I was in the serious research field for over 30 years (probably all my life). I find that we get more activity now, by being natural and being ourselves, than we did when seriously sitting there. We investigate several times a week with the public too, and the one pattern we have found... the people who are enthusiastic, loving it and having fun with each other... are the ones that appear to get more interaction.
At the end of the day if you had a visitor, would you want them to sit there solemn and serious or would you like them to be relaxed and chatty. I know if I come back as a spirit... if I had the choice between people being so serious, or the relaxed group on the other side of the room... I would always choose the latter as long as they were also being respectful. Fun and laughing creates energy in itself... it is why most people are attracted to fun people. I would hate to think it would be any different after we pass.
These videos are not serious investigation videos. They are travel, they are highlighting some great historical locations that others can visit, and if the spirits want to join in, that is a bonus.
Hopefully, this helps explain where we are coming from. We realise we are not for everybody, but I do sincerely thank you for giving us a try 😊
Thanks for the great investigation... EVPs were crazy... We hope that you go back for a visit.. bye..🌻
Thanks Dee, it was such a great place and definitely would love to go back there :D
That young lady is a natural! Hope she stays interested!!
She was so good, wasn't she. Such a lovely family 😊
Absolutely loved this one. The owners were brilliant and it was lovely to find ones that had as much fun as you on the investigation. Some great answers from all the estees
We had such a blast here, as the family were awesome to work with and also had our sense of fun. Hopefully, we will get back there one day.
Such a wonderful place! You really do need to go back and see how things have been.
We would like to Sandra, hopefully sooner rather than later :)
This is the best one out of all. So awesome, make sure you lady's go back there. Fun and great spirits
Kristen, I have to admit I have a real soft spot for this place. I think because we didn't expect anything and it was one of the best nights we have had. So pleased that people are embracing the Blyth Hotel too, as Mark and his family are amazing. :)
The Blyth
Love the look of this place, beautiful ❤
It is such a lovely place isn't it. And a lovely family running it.
I heard this is great and the subtitles picked it up as well. 49:50 ish.
Oh, interesting subtitles picked it up. I never thought of the subtitles as they are turned off when I watch back with you all.
Can you go back again please ladies
Hopefully, one day we will. It was such an awesome place and the people so nice there xx
Vary on the spot answers...
They were certainly interesting. Thank you for watching 🙂
Just finished my second listen. What a treat! I love the Blyth Hotel! Amazing responses. That last Estes, when "Nancy" came up, I heard from the portal "she likes to paint" I'd be curious to know if Nancy was an artist.
The Blyth Hotel was such a suprise and we loved it too. That is interesting, maybe we should ask next time there :)
41:39 whispers sounds like yea (about the cellar below dinning room) the camera caught the whispers too, lol I was typing this as u started to review the evps so u already know the answers, smh
It was quite chatty this night. I love to know what you are hearing though, as it is always good to have extra ears :)
Absolutely loved this. What a great experience for the Conroy family to have such a great response. Best I’ve I have watched ❤️
They should feel very reassured that they are approved of. Such a lovely family too, so can understand why :)
I felt like the lady u asked if she was a "lady of the night" felt uncomfortable because Sara was near n she didn't want to say much around the child.
I think you are right, as this is the impression we got, that she wasn't comfortable talking about what she did. Thank you for watching :)
This was amazing guys loved it
Thanks guys, xx
That was GREAT!!
Thank you, pleased you enjoyed :)
The Blyth hotel. My old haunt. Hallo to all in Blyth , love from Port Lincoln 💜❤️❣️
It was such a lovely town and so friendly. We even found the Waffle place at the old hospital ;)
@@haunted-horizons You've probably done all around Kapunda, ? Which has alot of places to visit and has many haunted places. ❤️
@@Willowq4 we used to investigate a lot around there and even got one of my creepiest EVP from St John's. I haven't been up there for some time now, though. We did investigate Sir John Franklin with Amy from Amy's Crypt. The episode should be on here further back. Thanks for watching :)
