La masia is the home talent. All these talent youngsters such as Guiui, Fermin, Yamal, Gavi, Pedri, Fati, Balde and the experience ones like Araujo, De Jong, Felix etc Barca would be a scary team to play against in 2 or 3 years time

Over the last 25 years, just TEN academy players have had a sustained run of at least 5 seasons in the first team (Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Alba, Pedro, Piqué, Valdez, Puyol, Sergi Roberto). That's a drop in the bucket compared to how many academy players got promoted to the first-team during that time.
Some have been re-bought (Cesc, Deulefeu) and it still didn't go as expected. There needs to be a measure of optimism tempered with realism everytime an academy product gets minutes in the first team.

Not everyone is going to make the cut. The competition is just too stiff at Barca. Don't let the hype fool you. It's a farmhouse so obviously some players shall have to sold to go have a career elsewhere. Only a few are gonna make it at Barca. This is the reality. You can't accommodate everybody.
All of them have gone on to having good careers in Europe. Except for Puig. He sucked.
