- In this video Steve checks out the EverSolo DMP-A6 which was one of our biggest surprises - and highlights - of 2023. It has a great combination of features and solid performance for the price.

Just picked one up in Toronto….luv it. Simple to use.. loaded my 2 tb card with my cd library (flac) streaming is amazing. I’ve noticed they’ve already done a few updates. Very happy with it … picked up some new speakers, and I purchased a fosi v3 amp..is incredible really love. It would highly highly highly recommend buying one of these.
That's terrific! Such good news abounds.........
My studio recording work requires me to have accurate meters. Do the EverSolo meters have any degree of real accuracy? Thank-you.
Looking to get this for the V3 Mono's. Should be great combo.
First, Aaron Rogers insults Jimmy Kimmel and now he’s doing audio reviews? He’s losing it.
Such an insightful review! I feel sooo secure wrapped in this cadence of calm presentation.
However, newer streamers also have video HDMI Out for Music Videos & Live Concerts etc. The EverSolo seems to be missing this very BIG part.
Acid Jazz, Funk & Brass 🔈🔉🔊
That sounds interesting. Can you give an example, maybe in the same price range as the A6? What I also would like to see, is Atmos support (Tidal, Amazon Music) .

Good review! Your overview of the functionally was very helpful. Would this be a good device to play through an AV Receiver? Also could you connect to a Sonos port?
It has a variety of digital and analog options, so you could connect to an A/V receiver, an integrated amp, a Sonos port, or pretty much anything you can think of.
Nicely Done.
Did you notice any difference using the rca outputs vs xlr.
Thanks
We didn't do extensive A/B testing, but I noticed a lower noise floor with XLR - especially when I was using it with a headphone amp. Any difference with speakers might have been covered by ambient noise in the building.
Thanks for the great review! So can I use an external DAC with it? Didn't get that point completely since I'm not native english speaking. Thank you😊
Yes you can use an external DAC. Check with Eversolo or the various Eversolo forums to see if your DAC has been verified to be compatible. Some Eversolo users have had issues with their DAC not being recognized (over USB).
Thanks a lot for your answer!
and I upgraded the power supply to a linear power supply via Beatechnik. Love it! native Apple Music lossless and hi-res lossless.
This supports native apple music lossless?!
You can side load apk apps on it
Nice! I'll have to look into how to do that, and share instructions.
Nice review - pretty sure Qobuz Connect isn’t a thing YET
The spec sheet says "Qobuz Connect" but yes, while the app allows you to stream max res, I don't think that technically exists.
RUclips music is not available?
RUclips music is not directly supported, so you would need to use AirPlay for that.
You can side load it so no problem
It's menu function is painful, no ability to create a shortcut, like accessing 'your collection' in Tidal is way too arduous and displaying screen pages of the collection is very slow to load, especially considering the tech in it.
I would have bought this product if it had been in silver.
Nope
The eversolo master edision is better more bass, voices great sound and no tiny bright sound like this one
Only don't use it as internal dac the you will mess with other dacs like av amps, and cds so don't use the coaxial digital output to cd to make the cd transporter you won't like it.
Failed review touched on not a thing important didn't even know you could side load apps with ease.
Perhaps if you had spent even 5 minutes reading forums you would see what the users questions were and the answers.
It's glaringly obvious you didn't bother.
There are different types of reviews and different types of channels. We used the device regularly for a couple months, and tested all the available features according to the manual (we didn't install an SSD ourselves, but consulted with a customer who did). Our review was more focused on the consumer who wants a simple plug and play device, rather than someone who wants to tinker and figure out extended or undocumented features. Sorry that the review didn't provide any new information for you, but hopefully it's helpful for some less advanced users.
