I got a sample of this and I can concur. It smells nice, reminds me of the original with a thick vanilla layer to it. It even gives me some one million lucky vibes in there. I like Victory elixir way more. Like by a lot. And my lady friends chose victory elixir over this on test strips. They actually liked the original BB colbalt over the new one. So if you want that lightning bolt bottle and want compliments from the ladies go with the OG Cobalt, probably for that plum note.
Great review I do own both versions and like Elixir also nice twist in a different direction than the original. Hands down both version are compliment-getters

Sampled this yesterday at Macys. It's a lot more "Blue" than the RUclips reviews are making it out to be. I was expecting a blast of vanilla but I'm not getting that. It's coming across more fresh to me.
Yeah they trippin. I’ve put both on my arm before, elixir is more woody somewhat fresh, kinda bold. Still solid tho, I just don’t remember gettin the vanilla.

I wanted to get the original Cobalt, but was holding off to hear about the new Elixir. Looks like I will be picking up the original and skip the Elixir. I don't need another vanilla heavy fragrance.

I tested both side by side on my skin at the airport and struggled to pick a winner. Both are great but went with elixir in the end. Happy with my choice. Lasts 10+ hours on me and several days on clothes. Can absolutely wear it in hot weather (I’m in Morocco - 40c daytime, 24c nighttime) just go easy on the sprays. I would agree I’d probably wear this more in the evening but it’s still fine for daytime although I have other fragrances I’d probably wear instead.

Hey Ash , Christopher Lee fragrances channel roasted this one giving it a 0/10 he crazy 😂 it’s actually quite nice I like it a lot nice release much better than the original imo … Oh and he praised YSL L elixir being best in the line giving it monster performance etc etc 😂😂😂 bro I laughed it does smell nice and soapy but imo this cobalt elixir is a better value for the juice you get . Still sauvage elixir beats them all 😎 along with jPG elixir
This fragrance sounds redundant to me and I don't even have the original Cobalt because I heard it smells close to Invictus Platinum which I already have so I never ended up buying cobalt because there was no point if it smelled really close to Platinum then I just ended up keeping Platinum but this one sounds very redundant and I will not be picking it up just like it will not be picking up the original
Funny thing is the OG is an EDP and so is the Elixer. I’ll have to try it at Macy’s but it sounds like a redundant money grab. I don’t think the OG sold very well.

Elixir does not exist, even sauvage elixir is probrably parfum concentration, the next concentration after parfum is extrait de parfum

This is my SOTD today!! Really liking the tweaks CH did to the elixir compared to the OG.
At first the elixir opening is weird, the dry down is where it's at. After 5-10 mins you fall in love with the smell.
