As a Festool user, that’s really not a fair comparison. Dewalt has both traditional screw truck and snap in chuck options. If you use the snap in chuck there is no time difference between that and Festool.
Yep that's fair, I probably didn't explain that enough. I did refer to it in last 30 seconds that standard hex doesn't really lock in the same way the Festool centrotec does, which is why I see it more comparable to standard chuck in terms of stability of the bit
