Programming a part with FeatureCAM

Brian Warren, division chair of industrial technology at Meridian Community College, demonstrates how to program a simple part FeatureCAM Ultimate 2021.
Knowing how to program a part using CAM software is key to become a successful CNC machinist. That's why an increasing number of trade schools are expanding their CNC programming course to provide their students with more knowledge about CAD/CAM fundamentals and make them familiarize themselves with the software that they will likely be using throughout their career.
This video shows how students at the Gene Haas Advanced Manufacturing Center are taught how to program a simple part from scratch using one of the many types of software used at the trade school.

Awesome video, very helpful. Can you explain how to turn the part? Not the view but actually turn the part. I.E when I import 2 Step files I need to turn one so both line up together and I don't see how to do it. Ty for any help.

Hi sir i have error showing NC code save time please help me how to fix this one (one more error exist please pix the error (s) and try again) this error showing when we seve the Nc code please help me

When you click on the error message, it should tell you what the problem is. For example, if you want to drill a 10mm hole and you select a 12mm drill, this is going to cause an error message. Or if you do not have a suitable drill size in the tool library, this will give you an error as well. After generating the NC code, look at the 'details' tab and then click on 'operations list' and scroll down through the operations to see the error or warning message.
