    This is the best video about the Camino Portuguese that I have found. It contains practical advice and great coverage of the various sections of the route.

    I love your videos - the simple "normality" of them (normal voice, normal emotions, commenting on good and bad equaly) is so rare now days.

    The Portuguese way is Camilla's way. Happy to see, that Camilla participates so actively in this video. We have learned new things from you guys, which we will take with us on our CF journey this autumn. Thanks for that. Looking forward to part 2. Buen Camino!

    • @Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker
      @Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker  3 месяца назад +1

      Thank you 😃☀️🙏, our daily routine is that, after a day of hiking, we then shower, immediately afterwards we hand wash underwear, socks, sweaters etc. and hang to dry. So based on that, I would say a maximum of two changes of underwear and 3-4 pairs of socks. You may need to change socks during the hiking day.

    Can you tell me what sleeping bag or liners you used please?

    • @Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker
      @Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker  Год назад

      I always use a sleeping bag, even when it's over 30 degrees, as a base to lie on, as a blanket or to crawl into. I sometimes start to freeze after I have been in the sun a long time and when I then enter a Albergue or if I lost weight due to the hike.
      I have a Seatosummit Traveler Tr l, open at both ends, I want a wide sleeping bag, not a mummy shaped one. Camilla has a mummy shaped sleeping bag from the brand Fjällräven, Funäs lite, Regular.

      @@Per-Ola_a_camino_hiker I don't remember but it may have been before Barcelos. It was the part after you walked back downhill to find your tripod. Then you walked back up and met your wife. That section had some big rocks. I am prone to twisting my ankles, so wouldn't want to walk there at all! And maybe not uphill either. Maybe another route?

      Hej,
      Jag har åkt tåg från Madrid vid ett tillfälle och det funkar bra. Buss har jag åkt både ned ALSA och FLIX buss. Jag tror du kan hitta buss från de platser du nämner. Kolla även flyg från Bilbao. Jag har flugit flera gånger till bra pris till och från Bilbao. Annars kanske du kan åka buss tillbaka till Pamplona och vidare därifrån.
