Megalomania is honestly one of the best boss songs I've ever heard (which is not surprising at all, since Yoko Shimomura composed it), and this is one of the best renditions of it ever
That megalovania snippet is really well hidden! It took me a few listens to find it. Very well mixed into the song! No wonder Toby thought he was hallucinating!

My favorite Live A Live villain is the horse who survived Custer's Last Stand and became possessed by the hatred of fallen soldiers that turned into a massive dood with a GATLING GUN.
Seeing how the remake is coming out and how a big influence it was to Undertale and Deltarune, it would have been awesome if Square Enix got Toby Fox to do a remix of this song
Even more heartwarming is how they immediately followed it up with the mother 3 pigmask lemotif, knowing that Toby got his start with a shitty earthbound hack, the first appearance of Megalovania.
