Just realised why I enjoyed this - no endless commentary over the Tannoys!
I was somewhere very close to whoever was filming this. Seeing that guy climbing out of car #704 @ t=00m56s was more horrifying than it looks in this video.
I have never felt fear like that ever before in my life, I hope he bought a lottery ticket on his way home!

Great to watch but what the hell ...I saw two guys getting out of there wrecks mid race that's insane.
Here in the state's we do all left turn's.I think you guy's in the UK are much better in the banger race's.Keep the video's coming...
If I ever have a crash, I want it to be in one of those limos! They take endless hits from big Daimlers and Rollers and just keep going
Yehh, we only do it right handed because the drivers side is the right hand side but i must brag that banger racing seems more exciting and fast paced than american style derbys although id like to go see a derby one day!

Yeah, I know the feeling - we were witness to a fatal car exit in Sept 2011 at the Pre '68 hednesford hills raceway. Not nice!

#704 hit the armco with the impact on the left front wing. You don't see that side of the car, but it looks like the impact has buggered the steering.
So he realises the car is toast. He was taking hits on his side, being a left-hooker the driver decides to bail out but is side-swiped yet again.
I really thought the poor bugger was gonna end up in hospital, but he walked away.
You appreciate that this motor sport is dangerous, but someone getting crushed by another car... Nobody wants to see that.
its just the bodyshell.
mostly rusty and far from restorable-the rest of the cars get used to restore other cars. the bodyshells would be scrapped anyway-why not having fun with it?
hate it when they crash rolls and other classics
They're all rusted out and are far beyond being restored
