- 28 cars came to put on a show for Autospeed's annual Crasharama.
Despite the numbers being low, The drivers that were there put on a great show!.
Dwo fully in the thick of the action and what a DD!.

Jason in the us they enter the track faster than they hit each other. In the uk we hit each other faster than the car travels to the track.
That hit near the end is Huge!

What's the song at the beginning?
In the 70's they used to 'race' then have a destruction derby at the end of the afternoon - I did it here for a couple years until I got hurt (!). This seems a bit crazy to follow-in. What's the point?

Great day this, good show considering not many cars! On every banger clip on RUclips, you always get some bellend crying about smashing up cars.. 99% of the cars raced are only getting scrapped anyway. Might as well give them their final day of glory before being crushed! Amen to banger racing!

I just can understand the whole idea of banger racing, are trying to run laps or just smash each other. It seems likeva demo derby format would do the same thing and not have as much chace to really hurt some one as these races seem to. I guess it a us thing not to understand stang some of the stuff you silly brits come up with. Then again I know some people have to think we are nuts for crashing cars into each demo derby style I think.
2 things in banger racing : racing and smashing
smashing comes first , racing comes 2nd (for most banger drivers anyway)
Racing around is just there so the race will end and so you can get speed , they also smash as its what the fans love too see ;)
jason walters you lot barely move when you hit each other. We go in flat out.
