Great video! I currently drive a Jeep and it's the most unathletic vehicle in the world! I've been nervous going back down to a car but after test driving the K5 I fell in LOVE! This car is a no brainer for the value, options and price! Thank you for pointing out things I have not seen yet!
Yes, you get a lot of features for a good price. Another thing I recommended right after getting this car is to ceramic coat it, it will keep your car looking brand new, I bought the ceramic and did it myself for $150, I got a quote from a local detailer he wanted $1,250 😳, thanks for watching 👍

I have a 2013 Kia Optima I’ve loved her the moment I laid eyes on her…she has been VERY reliable. I think the K5 is gorgeous too. Glad you love your car! Enjoy!! ☺️
I bought my 2022 k5 Gt line in 2021 and so far excellent with no issues. Drives well with more than enough power for me. I like the fact that this car is underrated so there are more accords than the K5. Kia finance offered 0% APR so my payments go directly towards the car and price I paid which was $29,000 total out the door.

I still had to haggle a bit because dealers usually want to charge extra for options you didn’t want. Overall very happy with my car and pricing which is best in the market compared to competitors.

I just purchased the K5 EX on June 14 in Everlasting Silver and she is stunning. Hands down the most beautiful car on the road. The K5 is a certified “Bad Bitch.” No Camry, Range Rover, nothing can touch her exterior beauty. Kia better recognize a winner when they have one and never change the design. 🚗
I just bought a 2023 GTLine 1/29/23 and so far I love it. I have the White color with the same red interior. Ive tried the lane assist but I don’t like it. It swerves too far to the left and right for me. I took it on the interstate today to see how it rides on long distances and how fast I could get it up too comfortably. I was at 88 before I slowed it down. I also never thought I’d be driving a Kia but my other car is in the shop and I rented one and fell in love with it.
Have you tried the steering assist? The lane assist keeps you inside of the lane but you have to steer the car, however, the steering assist steers for you, my car does a good job keeping the car in the middle of the lane

I have a 2021 Kia K5 GT Line with the premium package and every option including AWD. I feel mine is a little extra special because 2021 K5s are the only model year that still had the older Kia logo which I actually prefer over the new "nine inch nails" logo which I do not like but having the older logo makes this model year of K5s unique! :-) Mine is the same as shown in this video, wolf grey and with the lovely red stitched seats. My first order of business was to tint the windows dark to make the look complete and it's gorgeous. I get compliments about it constantly from people.
I have the ‘23 GT-Line and the “it drives itself” is not true for mine. While the stop-and-go cruise control works great, the lane keeping/steering intervention is not usable. With perfectly defined lane lines it wanders way to much to the left and right before making steering corrections. I have yet to find any road or condition where the lane keeping is good enough to ever activate it. I never intended to use it (I prefer to drive my car when I’m driving my car), but so many reviews touting how great the lane assist is makes me wonder what parameters are at play that make mine too sloppy to activate.
Your system may need adjustments or something, I haven’t had any problems with mine, it keeps the car right in the center of the lane, I use it every day specially while driving in heavy traffic, make sure to clean the sensor of the front bumper and windshield, the steering assist won’t work properly if those sensors are dirty.
@@NumberDZ Thanks - the sensors/sensor programming makes sense with so many people saying it works great for them. With everything currently covered by snow in our region for the near future I’ll wait until the lane lines are back again and see if it can be improved. On a side note, there are also so many potholes now on my commute (just in the last month) right where my right side tires would be if the car were centered I end up having to straddle them and wouldn’t be able to take advantage of it if it was working well. If they fix the roads it would be nice to be able to activate the feature at times tho.

I read in the owners manual you shouldn't tint the front window because of the sensor. Unfortunately its very annoying because its too much sun. Any suggestions?
You can but make sure not to tint the section in front of the sensor, if you pay close attention the sensor is surrounded by plastic, (it's in like a plastic box), as long as you don't go inside of that section you should be good.
