This is not a car that will appeal to everyone, so I know some people will not get it or sell it as you did after driving it. It's a driver's car, not a basher and as a driver's car, it's still a RTR which won't suit everyone looking for a race kit.
Great video thanks. Looks very stable, you can see suspension working well ( seems raising higher was a good move ) . I like the fact no cartwheels or flips in tight corners. On 6S should be a blast 💥.
When you said, "This feels like my Losi 8T", that was my thought seeing it. I had a Losi 8t (the original) and i'm seeing it in this truck, very impressive
I really hope that the new release of the hpi vorza range is a huge success as they really deserve it and have been working hard with mavrick to get back on top of the rc range as they used to be. Looking forward to getting the hpi subaru wr8 rally in wich i have submitted a request for notification of arrival from metro. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Great run / power seems great on 4s / 6s WOW actually double WOW, and it does look so good. Great work Vas. Your knowledge is faultless 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
You're driving is really really shine when you were flying through the air enjoy pass and I hope you are happy with the car and thank you for sharing your time with us showing a dhpr for thank you
The classy Vorza is one of my all time favorite cars. Looks like this has good linage to be so much fun to drive that it stays in the stable because it is just to good to part with, like my Vorza. Get excited everytime I take my Vorza out. HPI makes some really great cars. Now for 6S.
Aww Vas mate you're really teasing me now.. RC Carnage!! I'm HANGING mate! Can not wait for you and Chris , Feddet's and the boys to be back at it! Another great vid too mate.
Nice Run buddy looks awesome over the jumps can't wait to see it on 6s but I reckon might be a handful keeps the front wheels down on take off all in all looks great cheers buddy as always buddy your video's are fantastic
Seems like a good truggy with lots of power on 4S. I still think it's overpriced if you compare it to the offerings of Arrma, Corally and even HoBao. However if you comparing it to a Traxxas Sledge it might be a good deal?
looks nice, but i would still go with the Corally Muroco, round 50% cheaper(In Denmark 6600kr vs 4300kr), and Corally have really good electronics, in my opinion far more value.
I'm pretty happy with my Kyosho MP10Te, wich cost more or less the same as the Vorza's base version (the 4s one). Compared to it, the HPI model is almost a toy, way too slow of reactions and a lot less powerful. But of course, we can't compare a track-ready truggy with a simple basher.
I don't know where you live, but here the MP10TE is a brand new car that hasn't been released here yet and the nitro version is almost 2k for the kit. LoL. By the time you add electrics it'll cost more than double the money of the Vorza S. Yeah, nah, great comparison, dude, makes perfect sense. 👍 I mean, I would be pretty happy with a Kyosho truggy as well, if I had $2.5-$3k to spend on a 1/8 scale race rig.
The current Talion is a great car and a great basher, but it's much heavier and doesn't handle as nice as this does. However, the V1 and V2 Talion cars would be a better option as they are lighter and were basically Team Durango truggies with an ARRMA badge.
I've got a buddy who tried racing a Talion EXB with poor results. Like Vaz said already, it's too heavy, but the suspension is awful for anything other than speed runs. Those short towers and laid down shocks are just too soft for racing, no matter how hard springs and how thick shock oil my buddy put in his it was horrible at the track.
I can also back that up as I tried to race the Talion V3 in RC Carnage and lost every time. It just isn't setup for racing. It's fast, strong and makes a great basher, but in no way will it be competitive on a track or racing around trees. LoL. You'd need new shock towers and new shocks to start with, and maybe then it could work. But even then, it may still have a weight issue... Maybe if ARRMA releases a TLR Tunes Talion like they did the Typhon, then we may have a proper challenger.
Makes sense that it handles well, as it’s essentially an RTR Hot Bodies D8T with basher tires and body 🙂
I still own my Vorza S and always wished there was a truggy version
When I converted my d817t Tessman edition it was almost identical to this and that Truggy handles amazingly.
I sold my after five days of having it, its okay has some pros and cons but it’s not what I thought it would be. I’m happy with my old vorza buggy.

Finally a review! I've been waiting patiently to hear what this truggy is like. Thanks Vas!
And welcome back HPI!

I'm impressed how well that 10kg servo reacted. Good mod with lengthening the shock springs. The rear diff may need 1 more shim and 50k oil.

Seems like a nice all around car and the suspension seems pretty good.
Love the Vorza buggy. One of my go too cars. Ever reliable and faithful. 4s is fun and fast 👍🇦🇺🤓
Drives super nice! So flat in the air! 💪👊
Looks good! Very impressive
Looked good Vas! I figured this was a driver's truggy 👍
Looks like a dream to drive!
Nice Run buddy looks awesome over the jumps can't wait to see it on 6s but I reckon might be a handful keeps the front wheels down on take off all in all looks great cheers buddy as always buddy your video's are fantastic
Looks like a very nimble platform can't wait to see how it performs on 6s
Nice work Vas! The video was great.
Thanks Graham. 😎👍
Sublime handling and flight, it would be great to see a comparison of its centre of gravity and weight distribution front-to-rear vs the other 1/8s...
If it's set up correctly, 4S is all you ever need in a Truggy IMO. Hopefully this will be a big success for HPI as they definitely deserve a break.
Yeah, I certainly hope it does well for them, they deserve it.
Hope it is good for run this car!! Nice test mate!! 😀
Thank you. 🤜🤛
Great video!! Nice job Vas
That truggy was performing as if it was on rails. Great run! Was that bonus run on 4S or 6S ? Looked like a ton of power.
The bonus footage was on 4S. 😉

Well over $1k?? Wuttt?

Has it got the typical dog bone HPI uses? Find they wear fast on other HPIs

This or the Hobao Hyper SSTe?
Chique carro 🚗
Good lord, now imagine it with grippier tires
Why do only jump going the one way? You could do smoothies on the way back.
I'll try that next time. I mainly use that jump for sends.

I think about it in my sleep! 🤪
✌️
That talion exb rtr would be a good race for this

You guys are right I was a huge hpi fan years ago And like seeing the brand coming back.
Losi 8ight Truggy would be a good race
Unless you are running in straight lines, 4S is enough on these cars.
Meh I prefer the old one..
How much! Lmao
